ok so I have this preordered so don't freak out...

is it me or the eyes sunk in a bit?

at that macro level it seems bad, but I think in real life you might not even notice...

Thats an inevitable side-effect of PERS. I can take that by itself as long as theres no eyeliner that isn't part of the character, the eyes aren't overly large and anime-looking and the mechanism doesn't break.

With figures just now releasing in China, I suspect we'll soon be getting CC charging notices for April 9, with figures beginning to ship later that week and start showing up in hand the week of 4-16.

Anyhow, Yeah it's been tough making it through this thread without looking at pics but I managed. I go slowly and if I see the top of a pic I scroll down really fast so that it's a blur I want it to be somewhat fresh. I wonder if this this is going to be another split shipment. Probably. Who knows when I'll get mine. I hope I'm at least able to get Bats to hold me over.

I keep reading that they haven't fixed the hat. WTF!! So on to a custom. I bet after a month after most people have theirs in hand the interest thread will pop up. I'm down with it. But I'm going to be so pumped when I get this thing. I can't wait, this will be my first DX...and I'm getting two of them(Batman and Joker).Well I do have DX01 but he was a bash that took a while to complete so the whole experience of getting a DX figure brand new was lost on me. I can't wait to crack this baby open, the fresh smell hit me in the face and see the figure placed neatly in his little foam coffin with oodles of awesome accessories.

Yeah I'm excited.

Am I Missing something as to why so many people are against ordering from sideshow?

The only reason i didn't pre-order him from SSC was the deposit... at the time i didn't have the extra a cash to just put down... plus, i guess i was more interested in getting Batman first... then time past.

I just called SSC yesterday and they told me that they had no knowledge of when this will be in and if it was going to be a split shipment like Batman (they didn't expect Bats to be that)... but if i was to pre-order him now i would definitely be part of the second shipment if that was the case...

So, all in all i decided to wait and see if they get these in stock... but i won't be ordering from any other place... well, unless i can get some Hong Kongian (um, that kind of sounded a bit racial, huh? ) dealer to ship him for a decent price all around... otherwise, i can be patient and just see what happens.
