Has anyone noticed that Hot Toys is charging us more for less?
I am looking specifically at the DX09 1989 Batman compared to the DX01 TDK Batman, and now the DX08 1989 Joker compared to the DX01 TDK Joker.

For TDK Batman we got 2 heads with much more accessories, and for the TDK Joker we also got 2 heads and 2 suits for much less money. I just mention this because I have not seen anyone say anything before (that I know of). What do you guys think?

You obviously haven't read enough around here. :lol

Obviously, but comparing the two jokers and the two bats, give me less accessories in exchange for the most movie accurate Keaton and Jack's Joker likenesses (IMO, the most realistic Batman 1989 looking sculpts I've seen on a collectible, let alone an 12" 1/6 scale action figure)
anytime, any day, any month, any week, any year!

HT's has done it with these! as compared to the TDK versions. sorry :lecture

Damn fine shots, Coco :clap

These are by far my favorite shots of the figure so far. Not overly produced, these give me a better feel for what the figure will look like in hand. Thnx for the awesome shots, Coco. Keep em coming.

Have to agree here.

Those are sensational representational shots Coco. :clap

Love how realistic the stance is on the second one. Really looks like a human standing there.

Unfortunitely the trencher wasn't made big enough to fit over the tail coat. It has to be removed first then the trencher can go on and it's still snug. Too snug. It actually should bulk him up a bit more than it does.

That's going to push me over the edge of getting two of these I fear. I just cant be doing having to keep removing the tail coat every time I want to change the look :gah:

I have to admit that two hours after seeing those photos I jumped over the edge and ordered a second for partly that reason.

Did the same with Jack Sparrow.

It's time to spring clean my display cabinets and boot some Sideshows and Dragons back up into the attic to make room for more Hot Toys!

OMG I cant believe how good this, I cant really see anything noticeable wrong with it, although I am sure there are people that do.

This is the first time I have seen a final product look better than the prototype! The face is even fatter than the prototype! No wonder this took so long to get released!

IMO this is the best hot toys figure to date!

:clap

So this figure's pretty cool. Didn't get much time to fiddle with it since he came in on my lunch break, but he's damn near perfect out of the box. The removable part of his head is really loose, but nothing worth crying about. Can't wait to get home and tweak him some more.

:exactly: however, I don't know if you have the Keaton Batman, I think he's just as great, if not better, depending on if you like Batman more than the Joker.

They both make a " Dynamic Duo " that HT's has created for us! And I'm glad to have both in my collection, even though I really don't collect the villains, I can't pass up Jack as the Joker! :)
