Nice pics batty
Very nice Batty! I can't wait to get mine. Is that the stock hat? It looks fine in your pics. So much griping about that hat, but I don't see anything wrong with it?
Nice pics batty
Good pictures Batty. He looks seriously dangerous in them!
Awesome shots, Batty
Late chiming in, but killer shots, Batty.
For the weak knee guys, have you tried "spot welding" the knee joint with a dab of superglue? That sometimes is enough to fill the gap...
Also maybe try tightening the joint yourself. This happened with some of the Keaton guys -- one leg was longer than the other but it was just a matter of pushing the thigh tighter into the hip joint.
Anyway, this loose knee problem was SO common with the Sideshow bodies, especially the Star Wars figures, that we had to do the glue thing. I'm really surprised that the true type body is having this problem though.
We need more focus on that ____ing hat.
Great pics Batty.
Your's has eyes like mine. Same side too, his left eye is higher. Guess it will prove to be more common than I thought.
Batty! Great shots!
Sorry to hear about the knees, seems to be a common problem among others. Still looks great though.
Nice shots Batty. What are you using for a background.
I think you and I are the only ones still on the hat.
That is one awesome set up Mags.Could we get a pic of just the 89 set up? What do you have Batman holding, too far away to tell. Plus the cape looks great, really original.
____ing PERS. I must reiterate, why can't they just make a joy stick for each eye. It would be much better
I still think the hat is bad. I really hope someone makes a custom available to us.
I think I started asking around after first in hand pics.
He's holding the batarang. Rather awkwardly I might add. I just threw that set-up together. Not worth a close up. But I'll take better pics when I'm happy with it.
Cool. You say you've been wanting to mess with the batarang. I think I'm going to have him holding it for my permanent display but like you I haven't found anything I'm happy with.
That's what Enterbay has on their figures. From the beginning I've said it's a superior design to the PERS:
Simple and problem free. I know a few have made their DX01's look almost exactly like that. ^^^
Once I get the official word from Sideshow that I'm keeping the head I have, I will do something like that on my Jack Joker. I haven't taken the PERS apart to see what would be involved yet, but it can't be that complicated.
So far, the only figure that would be a hassle with Enterbay's system is the DX02 Batman. Having to use that tool twice up inside the head would suck.
I'm sure it takes time to get them lined up, but being that they are not fixed in "parallel" every figure that has them is capable of being perfectly lined up with a little patience. No duds/cross eyes. [As a side point, crossed eyes are possible if desired - looks funny on Mr Bean. ] Plus its a very simple design with few breakable parts.
It's like the old roll-up windows in cars. Sure the electric windows are easier, but there's a lot more parts to break/wear out.
Cool. You say you've been wanting to mess with the batarang. I think I'm going to have him holding it for my permanent display but like you I haven't found anything I'm happy with.
Its not that hard. Its pretty easy in fact. My DX01 broke and I took off the back panel and that's what I have to do basically. And when you see the inside you can't help but wonder" That's it? No wonder it broke"
Enterbays idea is much better plus like you said if you want to have some fun and cross them you can.
Do you have pics of your DX01 PERS? Would be curious to see what you're working with.
