I mean things do fall through the cracks but Superman AND Joker? WTF. I mean as far as I can tell Batman really didn't have anything major. Superman had a laundry list of defects and Joker is having issues now.

For the prices they charge now you would think they would invest some of that into their quality control of manufacturing.

I hear ya. There really is no excuse based on the price. The reason I made a comparison is because of my new Terminator premium format from Sideshow. The sculpt is literally sticking to the jacket and that thing costed me $400 shipped :horror

I'm curious though, I own Superman and had no issues. What issues are you referring to?

Jesus where to start lol.

Shiny paint rub on forehead

Broken cape wire (happened to me, arrived that way)

Messed up left ankle joint (another for me, not sure if I remember that being talked about on here)

Leotard snags (definitely the most common, happened to a friend of mine)

Cockeyed belt loops (friend issue, can't recall if it happened to ppl on here)

Broken hair curl

I'm sure there is issues I forgot, but those were the main problems.

Also I own it too, got one off eBay after getting rid of my tainted one. Perfect condition, but I won't dare try messing with the cape since it's insanely fragile. I definitely think there is a way stronger wire in the Batman cape since I basically bent it 180 degrees to have it more layered and fanned together.

There was a Jack in the box!

"Jack? Jack is dead, my friend. You can call me...Joker. And as you can see, I'm a lot happier."

In the press shots it looks like he's got 5-8 packs in each hand, can you even do that? I see you got a few in each hand.
You'd probably have to stick them together with something to achieve the promo shot. With more time and patience I could have balanced more than I did, though.

Way too many issues for a single $260+ figure...

I'm nervous now.

My first one was perfect. No problems whatsoever. Fantastic figure all around. The second one, not so much.

Hair fell off right out of the package when I lifted the figure out of the foam. Seems the magnet is missing. I searched everywhere, it's no where to be found.

Missing antenna on walkie talkie. I saw it was missing through the plastic tray when I first got it and was wondering what's up.

There was this unsightly bulge on the right shoulder. At first I thought it was the vest. I go to inspect it and found out it was the True Type. It's stuck like this for some reason and the seams don't match.

Last problem is the orange shirt. This one REALLY made me mad because it was clearly done during the time it was assembled. It looks nice but the shirt is a piece of crap.

More later. Other than the problems with the second figure, this guy is great.

Thanks.

I hate to think that I have to strip the Joker down to his underroos to see if all is OK. But I don't want to make the discovery two months from now when I decide to trade out jackets or something.

I was thinking the same exact thing. You get 30 days from purchase to exchange with BBTS.

I think were going to all get ulcers from the Batman Returns line... :slap

Got him! One quick shot for now...

Man, that's ridiculous.

I stripped my mine after seeing that picture and mine is fine but the darn hand peg came out from the body suit. That was a pain putting it back in.

To me this figure not only matches but actually surpasses the prototype. The fat suit which was absent in the promotional images makes the fit of the clothes much much better. And the head sculpt somehow looks more like Jack in person than the prototype did.

The character himself and all of the included accessories allow for a ton of display options; with what Jack did with the character, you can put the figure in all kinds of silly poses that would be completely innappropriate for any other figure.

I was happy to see the trenchcoat buttons just fine; some people here had me worried it couldn't be closed, but that's not the case. It is too bad they never widened the brim of the hat, but I can't say I'd have ever noticed this innaccuracy if people here hadn't obsessed over it.

Batman's swap-out faces allows for so many expressions that I do wish Joker included a second head sculpt, especially for the completely unjustifiable pricetag. I would have loved a second head with an open-mouthed laugh.

It wouldn't have killed them to do a runny face headsculpt with a artist hat. Such penny pinchers.
