Checked everything out on mine and the lapels are good. I was worried the most about that. The ankles are loose which is a minor irritation and of course the leg wasn't connected all the way, which I fixed. His eyes are centered but I only used them once and I don't plan to use many more times. I moved Bats eyes maybe 3 times and where I have them now is where they are staying, the same will be for the Joker. I took a ton of picture but I'm at work right now so I'll upload those tomorrow. The only thing I haven't done is put on the overcoat which is funny because I planned to display him in that but I had so much fun when I initially took him out the box that I never got around to it.
The small issue I had with the likeness vanished within 5 minutes of me taking him out of the box. That's not to say that I think it looks exactly like Nicholson in hand it's just that there is too much win about him that it trumps the issue I have with the likeness. Don't get me wrong there is plenty Jack there, I just think in terms of what they did with Keaton it's not even close. Hat hair still doesn't bother me and the hat is growing on me.:lol
So many display options I don't know what I'll do just yet for a long term display. With me it's usually less in more, so something simple will do. I hate when collectors have their figures loaded down with every accessory it comes with. Looks tacky. Overall I'm pretty happy with him. He truly stands out on my shelf next to all the Batman and Terminator figures. Was he worth $260? Eh, whatever. But I'll tell you one thing I won't be paying that price for too many more figures.

Got mine today, but to be honest I'm afraid to open it. As long as he stays in the box, I can believe he's in perfect condition, right?

I tried switching the left hand and the whole peg came out of the wrist sleeve. Any tips of getting it back in? Or am I SOL?

____ing Hot Toys...

Happened to me too. Those frickin hands are tough to change out!

I had to use some tweezers to get the small hole to line up and then put the peg in, and then used the tweezers to pull the inner white shirt over the ball part of the peg. It took a lot of time and swearing to get that back in properly. Hopefully I can change the hands out without the damn peg coming out again.

Congrats guy's on getting your joker's now go dancing with the devil in the pale moon light..........ha ha......

Update to my melty repaint.

You are not SOL. Not at all. If no one has commented further by the time I get home from work I'll say more, but for now I will say: That is how I remove wrists from every Hot Toys figure I have ever owned. That's how it's supposed to work. The peg should come out with the hand.

When I remove a hand the peg comes with it (99% of the time). Then you can heat up the hand/wrist with a hair dryer and they will come out easily with a pliers. However, I don't bother with heat anymore. Just use a pliers and pull slow and straight. Swap the peg to the hands you want to use and pop them back on the arms. In the case of this figure it's slightly harder because of the sock on his arm, but using the cane to find the hole as others have suggested works well. I didn't have any trouble at all.

+ 100 :lecture

Mags, did your Batman's arm stay straight like your sig easily? Mine won't stay up.

Yeah, it held like that for days. As I have said before, it only works if you go forward with the arm first, then outward to where you want it. If you just go straight to where you want the arm first, the rubber will drag it down.

I haven't been gushing about this figure much, but it's really setting in that I have him on my shelf. I don't know if this makes sense to anybody, but when you have wanted something for a long time and you finnaly get it, sometimes it takes a while to really sink in.

This has truly been my number 1 grail figure for years. I feel privileged to finally have him on my shelf. I'm just getting started with posing. I can't wait to do more. He has tremendous shelf presence, and it will likely grow to be my favorite figure. Just a truly beautiful piece.

Maglor is that the Joker that you returned or had destroyed? The PERS looks crooked to me. Do you have pics of the new one?

Are you trying to make me crazy? :lol

It's just the lighting. If these eyes aren't perfect, believe me, they are much better than the ones on the head I destroyed. (Yes I made VERY sure I was destroying the right head! :panic: :lol)

You know none of the PERS are *perfectly* 1000% centered, but neither are human eyes. At any rate nice clean looking pics. I like how you managed to get him holding the money.

I just got my 2nd joker in the mail today myself.

When my replacement shirt arrives in the mail (I was wrong about the shirt/tie being attached) I'm going to set up my first one with the trenchcoat from the parade scene.
