Roses are inaccurate. He placed the roses on the CEMENT as BRUCE WAYNE not on PLASTIC as BATMAN.

This looks genuinely creepy. So you have to do this.

I haven't been gushing about this figure much, but it's really setting in that I have him on my shelf. I don't know if this makes sense to anybody, but when you have wanted something for a long time and you finnaly get it, sometimes it takes a while to really sink in.

I noticed this. When you got Batman we saw an influx of pics of him with Joker not so much. We've seen some here and there but nothing like Keaton. Are we gonna see some Joker goodness now?

When I remove a hand the peg comes with it (99% of the time). Then you can heat up the hand/wrist with a hair dryer and they will come out easily with a pliers. However, I don't bother with heat anymore. Just use a pliers and pull slow and straight. Swap the peg to the hands you want to use and pop them back on the arms. In the case of this figure it's slightly harder because of the sock on his arm, but using the cane to find the hole as others have suggested works well. I didn't have any trouble at all.

I just started buying extra pegs from parted out figures. One for each hand the figure comes with. I like to change up my displays often, and it makes it a whole lot easier to just keep the peg in the hand.

Sideshow need proof of the destruction of a faulty head before sending out a replacement.

Heh, DiFab must be shaking his head. Can't believe Mag, no I can because he's proven himself. The eye wasn't even that out of place. Wait till you see this discussion spiral out of control again today as Mag does so well.

I can say that with all the reported problems with this figure, I'd be happy if Maglor's issue was the only issue I can complain about when mine arrives!

I just got mine today... I am so... SO happy with this figure. :blissy

I haven't noticed any issues with mine so far... a little nervous about changing the hands though, lol.

It's bothering me his right wrist sleeve, that covers the peg looks a tiny bit torn. I don't know if it was from me or not. I guess I need to force myself to ignore it.

Tonight after work I need to try that tweezer trick to get the sleeve over the peg. Goddamn that was stupid of Hot Toys. What was the point of it if you can't even see that sleeve? Same as the socks on his ankles.

I received my Joker this past Friday. I am very happy with it. Attached are some quick pictures of the Joker in my display case with all his friends.......

This has truly been my number 1 grail figure for years. I feel privileged to finally have him on my shelf. I'm just getting started with posing. I can't wait to do more. He has tremendous shelf presence, and it will likely grow to be my favorite figure. Just a truly beautiful piece.

I know, right? :lol

You know none of the PERS are *perfectly* 1000% centered, but neither are human eyes. At any rate nice clean looking pics. I like how you managed to get him holding the money.

Exactly. The first head I got was instantly noticeable though. Right out of the package.

For the record, with the first head, his left eye was too high, and with this head his right eye is too high. But it's so slight that I only could pick up on it in close up pics. With the first head the flaw was immediately noticeable in hand. And apparently Sideshow agreed with me.

Yeah, they don't really leave you a choice. I asked if I could keep the defective one and separate the eyes, but they said they would have to charge me half the price of the figure.

Man, your eye goes right to this figure! :clap

Great pose too!

Last night I realized that I wasn't getting why people were having issues with the wrists. I thought they couldn't get the pegs back in place, but the real issue is getting the "sock" back over the peg. The
reason I haven't had an issue with this is that I forgot that the "sock" was originally over the peg, and thus have not even attempted to pull it back over. :slap :lol

Not sure how I feel about the "sock", but I'm thinking of just painting the wrist peg white, and not using the sock at all.

That does happen to me as well, even with movies sometimes if I'm too hyped up. That's why many times I'll get a figure and let it sit for a week or two before I actually get to it to toy with it.

It really is silly that they had this on the figure, doesn't serve any purpose. Tonight with the help of my girlfriend and tweezers I'm going to try to get that peg under the sock.

I got a question for DX owners. Do the spotlights on the stands move independantly or can they move in unison? I don't remember Keaton's doing this but when I move one on Nicholson the other moves. I thought they were really loose and kept collapsing on themselves but I figured it out when I manipulated one and the other moved.

Haven't yet tryed the light yet since I just picked up the batteries for it. I can try it after work.
