Don't worry about it just pop it back in over the wrist sock. That's what I did and you can't even see it because of the cuff of the glove. You're being a little nit picky, dude. As far as the PERS, set it and forget it. Words to live by concerning PERS.

Probably what I will need to do to avoid damage. The sock really serves no purpose... except during puberty :lol

:blissy

Have a drink, take a breath... then cut a little slit in the sock and slide the peg in, then pull the slit around the nob that goes into the hand. The pressure should keep the sock in place and the slit from being revealed. Think of it as 'easy access', and not a slit.

Disclaimer: I don't have this figure yet but I can see this in my mind. Use your OCD for good, not evil.

:lol Great post.

I also noticed the PERS in Joker is a lot more loose than the Batman. The Batman PERS makes me worried I'm going to put in too much force and risk braking it and Joker it's real easy to maneuver, I just hope he doesn't go cross eyed on me... :slap

I'm not worried about the PERS. Although they move very easily, they seem to be pretty strong. Before I cut the PERS apart (followed by the total destruction of the head) to see how hard it would be to pose them independently, I wiggled them around pretty vigorously. No sign of damage.

I actually think the fact that they are easy to move means they are less likely to ever break. The DX01 PERS was a bear to move, and lots of those broke.

I posted this a while back when I first got the figure, but it bears repeating. The only problem with the fat suit that I can see is that it doesn't taper off well. They should have had it go up farther on the torso, and taper off to the neck. Because of the design there are big dips in the shirt like this:

You can see these in Fiends pics. As great as his poses are, the odd shape of the chest distracts:

Again, that's because the fat suit ends here:

A very easy fix is to put bits of cotton balls in the shirt like so:

IMG_6219.jpg

Then when you button it back up, no more dents!

IMG_6264resize.jpg

Since I did that, I haven't had to give any thought to futzing the shirt at all. It lays perfectly.

The only other spot where the fat suit is noticeable is where it ends near the knees. I have yet to mod that area, but I plan to use cotton there as well.

I actually just ironed the pants where the fat suit ends. Now the pants drape down naturally. :exactly:

Get mod on the chest though Mag. Gonna do it tonight. :hi5:

Damn. Awesome series of poses there! :clap

I need to do a serious photo shoot with a variety of poses like that.

Thanks, man. I plan to take some more this weekend.

I agree. Those were right out fof the box pics but I do plan to stuff him.

On a side note I used the cane to open up the bow a little more. I know lot of boardies were complaining that the bow wasn't to their liking. So I just slipped the cane through the end of the bow that jacked up and pulled it out a bit to even it up. Like so:

Afterwards you may have to futz it a bit with your hands to get the shape you want. I just thought the cane was an easy method to pull it out to get some length.

I just got JOKER about an hour ago.... and I've been in heaven ever since.

All I can say is

Jesus Maroomba!

This is an absolutely amazing figure... so far it's case fresh and I haven't explored much but evrything seems to ne aligned and in proper balance and in proper shape. I can't believe it really.

Thanks for that Maglor!. That has been the only thing bugging me about mine. Seems like a very effective and easy fix. Thanks again

^^^ You're welcome. :)

Gonna try to wrap the knees with cotton first, but I'll keep the ironing idea in mind.

Good idea. I may try that. The left loop is a little weird on mine.

Congrats man! :blissy

Great pics Wor-Gar! Your Joker looks near perfect. :rock

Love that cotton ball tip for the shirt, Mags. I'm definitely gonna do that to mine. :rock

Thanks!

I was really worried because I got a very good Batman and Jack Sparrow so I figured I was due for a problematic figure this time around... but, knock on wood, so far so good. The tie looks good loop-wise, though the two tails on mine look a little misaligned. I may be able to just pinch it into better position though. Glad the bows are even and on the larger side, more importantly. No snags or loose strings or buttons as far as I can see without stripping him down. Even the feet are fairly stiff and certainly hold a pose. I haven't found that weak spot yet...

It was getting dark here when I took my pics so I have no idea about the eyes but they looked fine.

Your tie tails are the only thing I can see needing futzed. I had to take the tie off mine and iron it in place for it to look decent. I still can't get the bow to look any better though.

I'm not very happy with how the pers sits on this one:

It only looks okay to me when he's looking to his left like in the last photo.

Does yours look better than that? Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, besides the obvious straight-from-the-box stiffness, its where the tails meet the bow that's misaligned. I need to twist the tails back behind the bow a bit, they lean out to one side (the right side). But it's a very simple fix and certainly not something I'm upset about. Quite the opposite -- I'm outrageously happy with this figure. Crazy cool fun I see ahead.

Now here's a few pics that no one gets to see too often...

Like the Joker's back-side, and yet, notice the detail, the buttons at the hip, and the four on the sleeve -- awesome detail...

Joker7.jpg

I'm sure this was pointed out but they even have the card symbols on the vest buttons...

Joker6.jpg

Although there's definitely some skimping going on, there's also a lot of rich detail here that many may be missing...

Just sayin'

:)

The card symbols on the buttons are awesome. I'd have loved it if HT would've included the playing card cuff links though. To me it's a detail that's sorely missing.

^^^ things are looking up for the last few arrivals.

Definitely agree, would have loved that. I write those off with the hat... although maybe not as bad as I thought it would be, it's still a bonnet.

This figure is fantastic, I have been playing with him for over 3 hours...watching movie at the same time...way to many poses...got a nice behind the back gunshot right now.

I have no isssues with the figure, clothes / jackets / etc...but the stand on mine has a piece rolling around inside, and I cannot screw closed, or even keep closed the battery compartment.

Anyone else with that one?

I keep seeing people posting that they are contacting SS for damged / replacement parts...are we not supposed to go back to online dealer we purchased from? I have to see about a new stand.
