That's one thing I noticed in everyone's collections, including my own. This Joker has quite the presence in a display. I don't know if it's the vibrant colors or what but he just steals the show on the shelves..

The Joker is my first “comic based character”. You will notice that there is no Batman in my collection. Up to this point I tend not to collect comic based characters. I decided (about a year ago) to make the Joker purchase for two reasons. The Nicholson Joker likeness is iconic and the color scheme

I will however be adding Penguin. I think a short, round freak will add another dimension to my collection. Also it does not hurt to have a umbrella in there somewhere!!!!

Thanks also for people comment about my pose.

I thought HT said they wouldn't tease "Returns" until December.

You are right.
Personally I was hoping to see images/pictures at SDCC. That way at least we know we would be getting figure “in hand” in Dec 2012 to maybe Feb 2013.

Reveling images in December will only mean product in hand Dec 2013-2014. That is a long wait since the announcement! :impatient:

I got mine last night and he's problem free.....at least from what I can tell. Great piece though. He's defiantly a knockout.

That's such a great pose.

I'm really torn on which look to go for: the classic Joker with tailcoat or the parade version with trench coat (my favorite but it covers up a lot of the outfit).

I was about to go with the trench coat but decided not to because of that. They have done such a great job with the outfit I didn't want to cover it up.

Well I tried putting that peg back under the wrist sock... no such luck... I would run the risk of tearing it. Does anybody have a sure safe way of doing it?

It's really starting to bug me... I hate being so OCD about this stuff. And it's an issue you can't even see since it's covered by the hand.

Have a drink, take a breath... then cut a little slit in the sock and slide the peg in, then pull the slit around the nob that goes into the hand. The pressure should keep the sock in place and the slit from being revealed. Think of it as 'easy access', and not a slit.

Disclaimer: I don't have this figure yet but I can see this in my mind. Use your OCD for good, not evil.

I might try something before I go to bed. I don't want to have to send it back to BBTS for something stupid like this. Other than the loose foot which I'm replacing the figure is mint as well as the accessories.

I got a long weekend coming up. I'm going to post up a big photoshoot with Nicholson, Keaton and Reeve.

Did anybody buy 1/6 glasses for Joker? :lol

Don't send it back, dude... and risk getting a lemon.

I also noticed the PERS in Joker is a lot more loose than the Batman. The Batman PERS makes me worried I'm going to put in too much force and risk braking it and Joker it's real easy to maneuver, I just hope he doesn't go cross eyed on me... :slap

By the way, I had posted about my stands spotlights not being about to be moved independently. I unscrewed the bottom, took the bat emblem plate off and gave the wires slack to move and now it's fine.

Though the first time I put it back together the switch wasn't in the port haha. Those screws seem to strip easily, luckily it wasn't too bad and they still have the cross in them to screw.

Don't worry about it just pop it back in over the wrist sock. That's what I did and you can't even see it because of the cuff of the glove. You're being a little nit picky, dude. As far as the PERS, set it and forget it. Words to live by concerning PERS.

...and you see what I had to work with"

:lol :yess:

I still think they could have made a unique true type body that had a little more girth around the torso and thighs. Cast it in stark white with white hand pegs and it would have been perfect.

I'm not fond of the fat suit (especially where the head/neck meets the collar) and I don't like the sleeves. It's just annoying to pose and futz.

ALthough a unique TT would have been nice, I don't mind the idea of a fat suit. And you can bet that's what well get with Penguin as well. Even if they make a unique figure because of his hight, I expect a fat suit.

I have a ton of figures but man, the Batman/Joker combo certainly is an attention getter. There's just this certain iconography with the two of them.

:lecture :exactly:

Totally grabs the eye.

I thought I would prefer the overcoat, but I love the look of the outfit so much with the tails jacket that I haven't even tried the overcoat on yet!
