Just wondering if your guys DX08 box came in good condition and was surrounded in tissue paper?

I got mine today from SS and it had no tissue paper, so there is box rub all around! Also there looks to be "double tape" on top and bottom like it had been opened before.

I checked my DX09 and it has single tape and tissue all around.

Feeling like I may have someones reject.

I don't think they are repacking returns and re-shipping them out at SS.

But I do know they are using the returns for replacement parts. Unlike a few weeks ago when they were not supplying parts, now they are to some degree.

Apart from the tissue paper around the box, are the contents in good order? When you opened the box, was there tissue paper inside? There should be one sheet of tissue paper inside.

Was there still plastic wrap around the face and body of the figure? Was everything in the clamshell underneath still unopened?

The tissue paper inside would've been my first clue, and the plastic around the face and body. If theses were missing, I would be sending mine back for a new, sealed, unopened box. Particuarly at the prices we're all paying now.

To anybody posing Joker with him holding his hat. Does anybody have a indentation from his hand in the brim of the hat now?

I don't know if it was there already or it was from the hand. I don't know how it could of done that since the hat weighs next to nothing so there should be not be enough pressure to do that.

That hat is awfully made. I just ordered a 2nd one just to have a spare clean one.

me too. the hat just isn't going to hold up over time. i ordered a spare to keep.

Are you supposed to be able to put the orchid on the tux? Because I have a thread there on mine like the the overcoat but the thread is busted and I'm unable to. I know the orchid is meant for the overcoat, I just don't know if HT gave us the option.

I didn't realize this. I've had the orchid on the tails jacket from the start.

It's meant for both. If memory serves correct he had the orchid on at the museum.

There isnt a theread on the tux like in the coat. you can put the orchid on the pocket of the tux.

^ Ok. I just said it goes with the overcoat because that's how I remember it in the movie and that's how HT lists it in the specs, like they're together. Some sellers are listing them together on ebay as well. I bought a new tux today anyway because there's some kind of crap on the lapel. Maybe the glue we heard about early on? Could be, looks kind of like a glue stain. I thought I could live with it but once you see it it can't be unseen. You know how it is.

What are you guys talking about? There's a thread on my tux jacket for the orchid. Same for the overcoat.


BTW -- shout out to BBTS excellent customer service! Got my replacement overcoat and its damn near perfect! Amazing how different it is from the one I got in the box.
