How many pics did they take of this guy between plastic enemies and Hot Toys?

Damn.

I'd say this is their most advertised figure yet. I'm waiting to see a commercial from them next. :lol

HT knows how amazing it is therefore all of the pic...at least that's what I think.

I'm more concern about them getting the trousers the correct color than the hat

Ugh... :slap :gah: :thud:

Wow, just looks at the fat & skin on the neck.:horror Now that's Jack Nicholson's neck I tell you! :lol

are we getting the standard TT human skin tone color then, or would these be white as well? In some of the proto pics, it seems that they were putting white sleeves on his arms

I asked about this earlier:

What exactly does this mean in the specs:

One (1) pair of white gloves

Maybe that's what they mean, not gloves but white sleeves for the arms!?

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forums and Hot Toys, but I'm starting my collection with this Joker and the Keaton Batman. The 89 movie got me into collecting Batman in the first place, and these figures are nothing short of amazing.

I'm also hoping that since Hot Toys loves to make Jokers, we'll be seeing other versions of the character. I think there are three very justifiable costumes that could and should be made in the future:

- Beret Joker from the museum scene (with extra "melting head")
- Mime Joker
- Jack Napier

I can totally see these versions in a DX 2.0 set or maybe just a single releases. Either way, I'm on board for every Batman Burton figure that Hot Toys will churn out. And hopefully there will be a Vicki Vale in there somewhere...

WRONG

Is how the pants look. Fix them HT, please.

Yep. Any die hard fan if 89 Batman will agree. The pants are inaccurate. They look nice for what they are but I'd love to see HT at least correct the colors if not the pattern as well.

I put them side by side, and you know what? I don't even care.

The brim of the hat is the only thing that needs fixing. Yeah, the pants are off, whatever. If it were a glaring difference, I'd say change it but I didn't even notice until I scrutinized the hi-res pics.

I could live with it if they don't fix them. But, they took the time to nail everything else, even getting the playing card symbols into the buttons. Seems silly to go to all the trouble to detail everything like that, and go "meh" at the pants pattern when it should be an easy fix. There's tons of time before this ships, so I'd say they're aware of it and will make an effort.

The pants are fine. I don't even care if they fix the hat or not.

Now the $100 bills I want fixed!

Do they even know that US currency looked different then? :lol

Who can say if it's an easy fix or not, could be that the reason the pants are off is because of some detail in the production process we don't know of and close enough was best they could do. People assume flaws are a matter of skill but there are other factors at play, just because a customizer can do it doesn't mean mass production can.

In the original script and in the graphic novel adaptation, the bills during the parade scene were supposed to be counterfeit, with Joker's face on them. Making that line about his "face on the one dollar bill" make sense. However, for one reason or another, it was just regular U.S. currency in the finished film. I always wish they would have gone ahead with the fake Joker money in the movie. Thought it would've been a fun little touch.

But yeah, as far as the toy is concerned, the money should be accurate to the time period of the film.
