Yeah Coco I just watched 89' Batman again, and when he kills Grisolm the hair is identical.
I just re-watched Batman, and was also looking for this. Personally, I would prefer if HT had done the hair as it looks for the bulk of the film instead of from that one scene. I know it was done so the hat looks better on his head, but he is gonna look slightly off without the hat unless you are thinking about that scene. Would have been preferable if they could have done different hair pieces a la Thor. The one we've seen for when he wears the hat, and one without "hat hair" for hatless pics.

Different hair pieces probably wouldn't work too well with Jack's hairline. We discussed this. Where were you?

excellent idea kara, I thought the same thing, without the hat he will look a lil odd with that hair..looks like he will be wearing his hat at all times lol

The problem is, if they give you multiple hair options, then the figure's value-for-your-money would be a bit more reasonable. We can't have anything getting in the way of the super-inflated price on this guy, now, can we?

HAHAHA I suppose not. What with them stealing our top dollar in exchange for fading rubber pieces on Iron Men, faulty PERS systems on the DX01, and lets not forget melting suits on DX02s, luckily mine hasnt had that problem though, but im one of the lucky ones lol

Alternate hair would make the head sculpt even more hollow and cheap feeling. It's bad enough that it has PERS and a hair panel in the back of the head, hair pieces would REALLY cheapen it. I don't know about you guys, but I'm not too keen on the headsculpts having multiple gimmicks these days. If you give one PERS, magnets, swappable face plates and changeable hair not only is that an empty shell but that's 4 possible QC issues.

It's fine as is. It looks infinitely better than I thought it would without the hat. I don't mind the compromise. Plus, I'm sure they have more Jack Nicholson Joker heads in the works for a MMS figure or some convention exclusive BS anyway. Maybe then we'll get a non-PERS Joker head with regular non-slicked hat hair and maybe a few others with flesh painted "civilian" skin and a "melting head".

hahaha gee thanks for all the optimism there nam

Every ounce is reserved for '89 Batman. None to spare. :pfft: :lol

Nah, it's just that time and again, people rave about having one that doesn't leak and then six months to a year down the line they post, just completely devastated that finally, the monster has revealed itself, beit the biceps, crotch, behind the abs, etc... :(

I agree, Im done with the PERS. And Im OK with the hair too.

My favorite thing about PERS is not that the eyes can be turned, but instead how much more realistic the eyes look compared to the painted-on ones of the MMS figures. I wish they'd insert the eyes as separate pieces on all of their figures, even if they're not movable.

Totally disagree. If they can make the hair piece on the Bruce DX look good, they can do it for this Joker too!

I would much rather have different looks come with this one than to have to count on them making an entirely new figure, particularly a convention ex, just to get some different looks or hair styles.

But I'd bet dollars to donuts that we're gonna get another one considering all the looks that aren't represented here. I just would have liked another option to the hair and hat...particularly since the hat doesn't look very good imo, but I venture to guess HTs will improve on it.

I dont have any complaint but for the hat. I thought it needed to be wider the second I saw it but its a small complaint really Im looking forward to these figures more than anything.
