Colors, but without getting into detail, the pattern design is different. The pants on Nicholoson have all equal sized squares, where the figure pants have just pink/purple squres separeted by thick turquoise lines.

I think the figure pants look close enough and find, they make the point, they look close enough, it's not like pinstriped Ledger pants on the figure or something, but for those that know the details on the real pants, I understand spotting that the figure's pattern isn't right.

ORDERED!! I was gonna go with SSC because of the flexpay but I went with Alter Ego instead, it was the lowest price I could find for both including shipping. Ive never ordered from there before, does anyone know how long it takes them to ship after the release date?

Yeah besides the hat I noticed the pants were off at once too although I didn't know exactly how until I saw a photo side by side to a real one but it doesn't bother me. I could care less if they fix it or not.

They'll get their product from SSC, so figure the time it takes for them to get delivery from SSC. Maybe a week later?

Corner Store Comics will prolly be the first SSC affiliate dealer to send these out because they are close by in Cali.

Cool, a week is fine by me. Someone was talking of some place that doesn't ship out close to a month after, that's why I asked in the first place.

Yes, that comment is wrong, and in the shot from the museum, "where does he get those wonderful toys", the color feel a lot like the figure's pants.

Already been done, folks were getting custom Nicholson Joker clothing made to go with imaresq's custom head before this figure was unveiled.

Yeah but didnt beto sell the clothes as a set?

so you couldnt lets say just choose the pants.

I don't care about the accuracy of the pants, but I am puzzled as to how a figure could be so accurate in the sculpt yet not so accurate in the tailoring.

Put it this way, if the same degree of inaccuracy that existed in the pants was applied in the sculpting of the head, I'm pretty sure people would be screaming blue murder over it. Genuine question: is tailoring that hard to get right re: fabrics, patterns, colours etc?

Because the tailoring isn't being anally scrutinized by the licnesors like the portrait which has WB and whoever else has a say in the property plus Nicholson or his people. It is such a big deal to get Nicholson to allow the likeness, there is no room for likeness flaw.

Those original pants look pissed off at the inaccuracies.
