Living in symbiosis, or having an interdependent relationship: Many people feel the relationship between humans and dogs is symbiotic.
Yeah but we're talking about something as basic yet essential as 'being able to eat', not "oh little bird c'mere and clean my teeth". Humans and dogs aren't "dependant" on eachother for such a fundamental thing as having the physical ability to get food into their mouths. Dogs are moreso dependant on us but not to the extent that they literally have to be hand-fed.
