I think there will be a second Bane, but not a DX. I think this'll be the last vest/coat version.

Bane isn't The Joker. He isn't nearly as popular, and there are no alternate headsculpts to do ... this is the only headsculpt, and the only one they'll need. I think we'll probably see a stock exchange and/or hijacking Bane ... or even a combination. It'll have the identical headsculpt.

No DX, no PERS, and no reissue of the coat/vest getup. They've included pretty much everything with this one that they can.

but since Bane has to express alot through his eyes alone a DX would be perfect for him.
Yes he is not iconic enough but who's to say HT policy will change on DX and we'll start seeing less important but popular characters get that treatment?

You all forget that Bane was all about his eyes movement and expression in the movie a DX of him would be welcome with eyes that could made look in and like any scene... Dosent matter for me ether way this Bane is mine... He may not be the Joker but in my book he made a far more lasting impression... He broke the Bat and F'd up Gotham Joker never even got near to Bane in the movies... All he did was make a District Attroney go mad...

Exactly. Its like whenever a new figure comes out people expect/want a DX version. All because you like a character doesn't mean he deserves the DX treatment. As a matter of fact this can be a one and done and I'd be fine with that. HT reserves the DX line for iconic characters. And as much as people like Bane he isn't in the realm of iconic. He is no Batman or Joker. Its kind of like I said in another thread people just can't like things anymore. It has to be epic awesome or epic fail. Bane has to be iconic.

T-1000 was a main villain and he wasn't a DX. And he's more iconic than Bane. If he's iconic at all.

Ras was the main villain in BB, and there's no figure to be seen, let alone a DX. Scarecrow, the secondary villain, was released, but only a bare bones release at that.

Bane does not have the status that Joker has, as others have mentioned. I'm fairly confident that, given Hot Toys history with any Batman character that isn't Bats or Joker, Bane will be a one time release.

Adjust the body size, more bulk and muscle, scar detail also
a plane hijacking version would be sweet
in terms of head scults, looking at the current face, it seems to, i dont know timid, normal and calm, watch the scene where bane speaks to the press holding a picture of dent with his huge angry, passionate eyes, and the scene where batman starts attacking his mask and bane panics and goes crazy, his manic expression in his eyes and eyebrows with veins all over his head popping, there are two epic action headsculpts they could do right there. Hardy said himself the acting was all about expression, body language and in his eyes, the current, about to be released bane is, frankly boring, however good, compared to the brutal character portrayed in the film.

Bane's facial expression was about eye expresiveness, not pupil movement ... being able to have him look a different direction won't do much. Until PERS moves eyebrows and eyelids, I don't think it matters much.

Would happily take a revised Bane but not really worthy of a DX for me. I would like some more classic film characters next, as soon as I have Bats, Joker, Gordon and Catwoman and Avengers...I will need something else to collect

I'm in such a pickle at the moment as to whether to buy the Indiana Jones DX or not.

If Bane is included along the likes of Ledger, Keaton, Bale, Nicholson, Michael Jackson, Bruce Lee, Luke Skywalker, Arnold, Johnny Depp and Indiana Jones, there's something wrong. The DX line will be tainted.

This. Bane was awesome in TDKR and I wouldn't have a problem seeing a DX version of him but I highly doubt we'll get one and I think there is only a 50/50 we'll see a 2nd Bane. While I do believe the figure could be a bit better and I will wait to see the final product before I decide to pick him up or not, I still think it's a good figure. If he could be had for under $150 like HT figures were a few years ago, I would have no hesitation buying him.

I honestly think Hot Toys screwed up big time here and it wont matter if they do make another Bane at this point. Think about it this version wont hit till March next year and then we could get a second version maybe at the very least a year after that but more than likely a lot longer. Imagine the price their figures will retail for by then and really think about if Bane's clothing patterns/colors and muscle tone will still matter to you when the series has been put to rest with no sequels coming and a million customs have popped up and some new muscle bodies are created that would eliminate the majority of the problem.

Even if you would still be all over it I doubt they would take the risk. In all likely hood we will just get different Batmen and Jokers every so often until DC makes the next version of the character on film and anything we don't see by mid next year we likely wont see at all.

Are people seriously hung up about having a second outfit for Bane. No reason to release another figure to get that boring courier outfit. And the plane escape? A black tee shirt? These seem like easy bashes and for those collectors who must have every chacter and all versions of said characters in the trilogy. I don't see Stock Exchange Heist Courier Bane being a big seller.
