Yeah body isn't improved at all.
It is the banrey / hiplash body with just the scar added at the back.

For me? The arms look small. It just doesn't say "Bane" or "Tom Hardy was a badass" to me. I'd rather larger arms, bigger traps that would result in a more ominous stance.

Honestly, aside from the need of bigger traps, I think the issue is more to do with the fact that his head needs to be a bit smaller, since it offsets the arms more. As the production team said, Nolan's Bane is meant to come across more as a guy that has the build of a circus strongman than a real body-builder.

Still, it's not a deal-breaker for me honestly (the bulkier body is vast improvement in its own right), heck I'm even planning on displaying with the coat off (surprising, I know eh).

Yeah, I don't think bigger traps would really work with the proportions of the base body. I'm fine with the belly size to because there is some give and take here. If you make the body bigger in those areas, the clothes will make it too bulky. When it comes down to it, they want the body to look best in the costume, not when it's stripped down.

I don't think you even read my post:

Here's what I think is actually wrong with this figure:
- Traps still need to be a bit bigger
- Less abs, more belly

Now having read the majority of the old complaints across the whole thread, I kept tabs on what people were complaining about or wanted to be changed and here's what I think HT did right with the final product:
- Bulkier body, which combined with the vest, makes his traps look bigger
- Large-enough-but-not-too-large arms which nails Bane's look (both the stuntman and Hardy)

With that, my point stands. It's an improvement, but not necessarily perfect.

People were complaining about the body waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the earlier pages, and some were outright suggesting to use that EXACT body type (Whiplash/Barney) as a better alternative. Hot Toys listened, and people are still unhappy.

i am still getting it dont get me wrong, its just i was hoping for more improvement after the initial backbite of the promo shots. I like the touches added to the broken cowl etc. But i definately think the way to pose this is with the long sleeve tshirt and overcoat on

Haha don't worry, I was mainly talking about the people complaining about the prototype back then that wanted to used the very same Whiplash/Barney body type. Well I can't vouch for the prototype using the same body but a lot of people claimed that the reason it looked skinny back then was because it didn't use that bulkier body type, so I'm assuming that HT at least changed it considering how it looks much more bulky now (even with the just the vest on).

I will say (not directly at you but in general), it certainly looks much better than the prototype, and to say that HT didn't make any new changes at all is just plain ignorance at this point.

Well to be honest I don't see any changes apart from the sweater.

Everything looks exactly the same it's just better pictures and poses.

from HT point of view i suppose it gives them more scope to bring out an improved version at a later date, dont know why this has been released before the Joker though....

I'm still as excited for this figure as I was the first time I saw it. Doesn't have to be 100% accurate as long as it looks good on the shelf. My only complaint is that it's come out so soon and apparently Joker is coming in the next week or two? That's the crazy part in all this. I'm going on the Ramen diet for a while it seems lol
