It's around the £30 mark - if goods being imported are over that value, then VAT is added, which is 20% of the value + postage. Parcel Force will then charge you about £12 'handling fee' because you have had to pay charges.

So, if you buy a figure for £150 + £10 postage then customs charge will be something like 20% of £160 which is £32. Then add the handling fee of £12. Final charge = £44. Makes your very expensive figure just that little bit more expensive and kinda takes the joy out of it a little bit.



Just pray your seller marked it as a 'gift' and lied about the price.

Here in Ireland it doesn't matter what price is marked on it or if it says Gift..once it goes to customs they won't release it till you send them a PayPal receipt
Then they have exact price to screw you with...makes figures very expensive.
My last item managed to escape customs came straight to me...don't know how,it was the Enterbay Batman those boxes are huge.
Lucky tough import taxes on that would have been scary.

Yeah, while UK sellers may be a bit more expensive, you don't get that nasty surprise letter from Fedex

I normally go with Dgray-man who does exactly that. Only this time i went with timcent and asked him to do the same and he said he would. so if he has done it or not only time will tell.

I've always used DGray-man and not been let down yet Waiting for him to this pretty guy in.

He isn't hence why i went with timcent. I messaged him before i bought from timcent, said he hasnt ordered any. Not sure if he will in future

Just wanted to chime in here, i'm waiting for a package to arrive from HK, it apperently left on the 10th and hasn't arrived yet so i'm guessing it's just a delay.. i read on the Hong Kong Post website there were massive delays over christmas and new year so it could still be spilling over.. said something about there not being enough space on outgoing shipments..

The HK Post department has literally run out of space..

I gotta admit the pics in here make this thing look pretty good. The movie was a disappointment so I can't see me laying down almost $200 for this. I'd only get him if he was dirt cheap.

Has anybody tried to put the MC Toys Trialmaster on the new Bane Figure.

Seb did, it is on his Bane thread in the customs section and it looks very nice. I have one coming for a custom. The default body on that Will Smith is swimming in the coat, so I think there is ample room to get a good fit for him.

Looks like im the same boat as you buddy. Checked tracking again this morning and its still not showing as landed in the uk. Parcelforce just have it as forwarded for export from HK wth. Mine actually left of the 11th so in theory should have landed today(based on past experience),bloody delays i just hope it doesn't get stuck in customs when it does land.
