I can see Catwoman having a better chance at a DX treatment than Bane.

This is why I think he might not get a DX. If Two-Face didn't earn one, and he came from the most profitable of the Batman movies, I think Bane might be a one and done type of figure.

Two-Face had one look. Scarecrow too. And Catwoman will have just one outfit. So yeah, one and done on those.

Bane clearly and deliberately has several looks. So that's a good indication that they at least hope for multiple toys. Of course it's dependant on the success of the film. But I could see at least a second version in one of his disguises.

As far as DX.... I agree, Bane doesn't deserve it. Although I couldn't think of a better character choice for the googly PERS.

in film and TV occasionally you'll find a lot of set and costumes have specific colour modifications in order to obtain a specific on-camera look.

Posting images of the actual costume and on set pictures may actually not be what it looks like on camera after colour grading etc.


Wait for reliable screen caps.

The coloring of the Joker clothes was always an upheaval due to the "real" color vs "on screen" color. When making his custom set, Kato went for "real world" color, and most people agreed, since that's what the clothes actually look like in real life without TDK's blue filter.

Personally, I'd rather have "on screen" accuracy, since these figures represent the movie character, not the actor on set in costume.

That still doesnt explain the belts, the armor placing and pants.

Late to the party. Having read through the thread it's a shame that such an anticpated figure from such an anticipated film has gained so much negativity. This screams Joker Version 1; there's bound to be a DX version released within the next few years.

I like the sculpt coat and am ok with the pants but that vest looks like $#!7

Looks perfect. IMO

Figure looks perfect! Just needs lots and lots of lots of weathering.
The disprepancy is too subtle.
some figure just has to have that weathering, and its strange how it makes a world of difference.
Look at a lot of Elvis1976's figures. He is excellent in weathering figures and it just gives it that oomp to bring the figures to life.

That's the only flaw I see on this figure...too clean. But I'm not bothered by the inconsistencies. I think its a damn good figure and looks very close to the screen counterpart.

way way off on that side of things, its far too slim and far too muscular...rant over

And we still don't know if the color is truly dull silver on the figure and this is what it looks like under dark light..

People forget that the prototype photos were taken with studio lighting, so the color should pop. If it's dark in studio lighting, chances are good that it'll still be dark colored in broad daylight.

Why would you expect anythintg else by hot toys?can you name 5 figures that are correct?heck whiplash came with a brown jumpsuit and he clearly wore orange in the movie.they don't really have any compitition so what do they care.
