To me Nolan's Bane has been an underwhelming figure ever since the first reveal during shooting. (This is lucky, since there are already too many new HT/SS figures to choose from!)

The only version of Bane I want to see is this one:

Now that's a Bane fit to break the Bat.

Maybe Sideshow will make him.

And why this would NEVER work in the Nolanverse. It's just not realistic. At all.

I have to say, I've been comparing the detail on this to a similar past HT release, and it shows a pretty shocking drop in standards. This is very similar to the Terminator Salvation clothing, except they were aged and detailed amazingly IMO. The John Connor outfits were amazingly detailed and well aged and weathered. This looks cheap as chips.
No likey.

And that body is all kinds of bad.

Yeah, I don't buy that argument. None of the villains in this franchise are realistic apart from, maybe, the gangsters and Ra's. Just a matter of degree. Crazy clown guy, crazy half face and suit burned guy, crazy "fear toxin" shooting with potato bag over his head guy, crazy steroid juice and scary face who jumps out of planes and blows up football fields guy, crazy runs around in bat outfit guy, etc.

Gotta say, the more the "flaws" with this figure are pointed out, the more I realize how insignificant they really are to my eyes. It's making me want to buy this guy more strongly

I'm starting to think the same thing. Once we cleared up the cluster___ about the wristguard and other shirt ... I'm reasonably satisfied. I'm on board.

I expect it'll be $175 or so at BBTS. Nice to have a figure significantly under $200.

I can't honestly _____ about this figure not being 100% accurate. Every time I get a figure delivered I'm astounded at the level of detail and craftsmanship involved.

Just got Red Skull on Monday and was very impressed by it.

I wonder what factors determine why Bane would be more expensive than Black Widow.
