If I buy this I want this pose may need to get a different body to do it

I thought people were exaggerating when they said they wanted this pose, but then I saw the movie and noticed how often he did it. It's weird Hot Toys didn't try to make sure he could do it in some way, shape, or form. Maybe even by including sculpted arms specifically put in that pose.

Yup , i have stressed this to death . Why do some figures come with their own unique stand like

Exclude the DX's

I mean that's what we should get when spending $200 - $250 a damn figure.

I just don't get Hot Toys logic when they brainstorm a figure an just randomly decide to make a unique stand for one figure and not the next

The ones i stated above are not DX releases either , if i missed any , let me know

So the body the figure is on really cannot achieve this signature pose?
That would be unfortunate....

I'm this close to pulling the trigger on this one - really like the movie and the character isn't as "one-dimensional" as so many critics would have us believe...I thought Hardy rocked it.

Back to the figure...as others have mentioned, I wish there were just a few more accessories for some display options...like the megaphone, the "Gordon letter", and/or the pic of Dent. Or...

although it might require a second portrait, a "battle/duel" damaged mouthpiece

could be cool too...

With the figure being so out there on the release schedule, maybe HT will throw a couple more things in the tray with him....

Honestly, if you keep the jacket or the sweater on/under the vest, the arms won't be a problem, minus the lack of a decent elbow joint.

You might be able to pull off an unconvincing version of the above pose on the figure (might need to pull out the joint at the bicep socket a bit though), but this pose is a no-go, guaranteed:

I don't see a 2.0 coming. I can see another Bane figure being released like Bank Robber Joker and coming with his biker uniform, but not an entirely new release. At least not any time soon.

From this picture it looks like HTs actually got the vest much more accurate than given credit. The waist straps look brown to me and not olive green like being shown in the photoshop manips

This vest photoshop does not look correct to me.

From the looks of these pics HTs did a fine job. I'm sold.

After seeing the movie, and taking a look again at the photos... I had a few thoughts:

1. HT did a horrible job with the photography on this release. Not having the wrist guard on, and the horrible poses (he looks like a delicate dancer in some of them) really hurt the impact the release should have had.

2. I think they could have included 1 more jacket (if you have seen the movie, then you know which one it is).

3. Still think/wish they would have developed a different body. It is a no brainer really. PEOPLE LOVE MUSCLE BODIES. They could have offset the tooling cost by selling the body as a TT figure.

I thought Bane was the best part of the movie but without the signature pose I won't be buying this.

And honestly the only thing that bothers me now is...
How bad the pants design is (just looks cheap)
How thing his neck area is
and the padding/armor vest placement

Everything else can be fixed with a little TLC.

I'll be able to get it. If I can get that classic T2 poster pose on my HT T-800...I can get this.
