And MOST importantly, which one would you pick?

The one of the left has a squeaky voice? never knew Bane had an escape valve.

After seeing the film I want this figure even more. But I still hope they make changes. Devil's photoshop really conveys what is wrong with the figure.

I loved his voice (except the new prologue audio). He looked big and intimidating. His fighting style was very brutal. Tom Hardy did an excellent job with his facial expressions and how he moved his body. There was nothing I didn't like about Bane.

To me the voice is what made Bane. Without it, you just had some buff guy who got kicked out of pro wrestling. With it though, they really are able to get across the idea that Bane is very intelligent. It completely changes the way you perceive him. I would go so far as to argue that without it he would have been rather forgettable. The voice combined with the great body language and slight subtle movements/expressions made him really interesting. Like the Joker it was entertaining just seeing Bane talk to people.

Im torn cause this could be the only fig. they make of Bane but damn,Hot Toys really whiffed on this one. Wrong body size, completely wrong outfit and a rusty looking stand. Meh, for once Im hoping that their little disclosure that the "production figure could vary slightly from prototype"is true. Head sculpts good though.

I don't think you should be worried, doubt this figure will be sold out once released because so many didn't like it. I reckon you have plenty of time to decide or just wait till its released and then watch a couple of reviews on it to help you decide.

Well it's not a DX stand so no surprise there. You could wait till DX Bane comes out (if one does) or get a separate DX12 stand and then replace the name plaque.

ToyHQ sells Gotham Man Hole Stands which pretty cool. You get one for free if you preorder any Batman related figure early from them (it's their exclusive item), they look pretty neat.

To complain about his lack of super steroids, or that he wasn't seven feet tall is asinine. You knew from the start that those things wouldn't happen.

So? That doesn't mean they shouldn't have. I think considering the fall out around this movie the world agrees. Rotten Tomatoes got so many negative comments about this movie they had to shut their comments section down for two days. Bane sucks. How is it Batman can survive a fall from forty stories but some short pudgy guy can drop him on his knee and destroy him? How would Batman have lasted a night on the streets of Gotham? Now if Bane was a giant, roided out monster I might believe it. So many problems with this character and this movie.

Yeah, I didn't even get to see the prologue in theaters but even from the bootleg internet videos I could tell they redid his lines then. I hope they release the original version on the Blu Ray though, it sounded better to me. And he didn't sound like that again in the film. It like WB knew of the complaints on Bane's voice from the prologue and Nolan only rerecorded those to satisfy them and kept it the same for the rest of the film

Like i stated in the begining of this thread . That's what a stand should look like when you're spending $200.00 bucks on a figure . Not the cheap *** black oval POS stands that we get .

Each figure should have its own unique stand like Bane has .
