Still love this guy, definitely don't regret the purchase :) cannot wait for the BD Robo/Murphy set, some time in 2025.

Here's what the two different versions look like.

First BD release.

Remastered BD

Both images are cropped and resized as the focus was on colouration of Robocop and not fully representative of the BD image quality. My remastered version image comes after re-encoding video for use on my Plex media server to Apple TV with but no alteration to colour information.
love the remastered BD, but on the same hand, it also showed a lot of the flaws on the rubber of the costume
you could see how it was really custom and inconsistent throughout the film
watched it on my oled tv, which also showed the differences in darker colors
still wouldn't have it any other way

Not sure I posted these pics before on here. I did on Facebook. I repainted mine slightly just to add a little more blue that I feel wasn't showing up enough on him.

Just seen on FB.
No word on how it happened; if it teared when movin the arm or it deteriorated... but given the problems some had with ED209, we PROBABLY should be careful from now on?!?!

And as usual the obligatory apologists have already emerged stating their "You're holding it wrong." routine.

I was afraid that would happen at some point, such a shame, museum poses boys or suffer the same fate:panic::panic::monkey4

The question remains if it teared because of a brutal 90 degrees armpose or if it deteriorated.

I suppose the former.

Well ether way its not good, the figure is designed to bend at the elbow so it shouldn't happen, I always assume this could happen so any figure I have with rubber joints typically stays in a museum pose in my collection, still its a poor design or poor matierals and shouldn't happen.

Yup.
I think the choice of materials for the joint covers on both ED209 and RoboCop is really poor.

As good as they engineered Robos body, they still used this cheap, shiny rubber for the joint sleeves.
