If doc was a sure thing would it change your mind? I'm really hoping there is an announcement this summer, but still not holding my breath. Personally I couldn't be happier with the way Marty came out, but if you are only a casual fan of the movies the delorean is both pricey and a space hog.

This was a very successful release, a genuine hit for HT, at least in the US, UK, etc. -- and with the DeL set for release late this year/early '16, I'm betting that HT will announce a Doc either shortly before the DeL releases (to help boost sales for both) or shortly after.

We'll see..

Just unboxed him and took a few shots in the process

I got to admit I'm not a huge BTTF fan, I like it but not hardcore and I wasn't super excited to get this, however I got to say its way better than I expected and I'm very happy I didn't pass on this release:)

Review is planned:lecture

Grats, Skull. Pack Out shipping is the ONLY way to go for me now. Love receiving a pristine shipper.:wink1:

:goodpost: A nicely sculpted doc with robust accessories teased 2-4 weeks before release would indeed push a lot of deloreans out the door. I would prefer 1985 doc in the jumpsuit and its probably what hot toys would make to compliment the other 2 releases.

Yes sir, I set my account to always get a packout about a year ago, got tired of contacting them via live chat to add it, they should have it as a option while your checking out to make it easier.

Thanks, TF.
Yeah, it would be an 85 Doc no doubt. And accessories would be a trip, so much to choose from! And I believe it will have rooted hair (has to!) and a good template for when they do a Beetlejuice.

Only way to go, Bro. :duff

Rooted hair nonetheless IMO... has to have that wild and crazy "Einstein" look to it. Molded hair on Doc would be a disaster IMO.

Speaking of Einstein, they pretty much have to include one to go with the DeL don't you think? -- after all, Einstein was the first time traveler and would be a cool accessory to help sell the DeL. Hey, they're doing a (crappy) Jonesy for Ripley. Don't think it would be fair to include Einstein as a Doc Exclusive though.

Anyway, just playing the spec game here. We'll know soon enough... hope they complete this line properly. Doing a Marty and DeL WITHOUT such a beloved and integral character would be a travesty.

Travesty, sounds heavy. :lol

McFly leading his '80s all-star B-team! Damn my eyes for not having a Mr. T figure!

SSC took my money. Said 'item shipping soon ' it now says 'processing ' WTF? Really anoyed they haven't shipped him. Are they open weekends?

Bummer. I hope they can fulfill the order!

I opened this figure up today, and agree with Pop that he is very excellent. I was skeptical that this could match up with my fancy schmancy custom with the Trevor Grove sculpt, Cheungkinmen paintwork, Yunsil outfit, and Rainman accessories (an all-star cast if there ever was one!). But. . .it wins pretty handily. I took a few comparison pics for those interested (there are still probably 2 or 3 of us around who got a custom McFly way back when). I used a slim body for the custom, but it's much taller. I'm not sure if the ankles were just longer there, or if this new figure is just extra small. The denim jacket and vest are a much better fit with the Hot Toys figure, particularly in ther arms of the jacket, which allow for better movement, and are more tightly cuffed around the wrist. With the HT figure, the watch is much more in scale, tape deck is connected to the headphones here and is more durable (and seems to have a little tape inside!) and I have to say that the sculpt is a better representation of the character. Shoes have a nice, subtle weathering on the HT figure. Yunsil's pants are of a much higher quality though, and have better looking weathering, and I like the design inside the jacket more, though I'm not sure which is more accurate. Rainman's skateboard is slightly larger, and is of a higher quality, while also having the logos, but the wheels don't turn.

Can I see a pic of that macho man custom? How do I get one and how much?

Should've used spoiler tags for that box^^^lol, JK...prolly open mine up tonight.

I wish someone was doing a George McFly custom. There was an interest list started but I think it just kinda died. If Hot Toys doesn't do Doc, Marty is gonna be awful lonely on my shelf. :crying
