It can only be solved by a remake trilogy

But yeah, kinda bizarre. The ''future'' in this film has been the future for the past 25 years and now it no longer will be.

2029 is another big one. We should have fully autonomous humanoid cyborgs by then.

Maybe for the remake, they can take a page from Terminator Genisys and just totally alter the classic storyline and make new predictions for the year 2040. The HELL were they thinking with Genisys??

Guilty pleasure movie for me I must admit. But it's not a real Terminator film, I compartmentalise it. I guess that's how I humour the otherwise outrageous thing they did in meddling with the original story.

I'll admit, I was still entertained simply because it was Arnie as Terminator, albeit an old, wrinkled T800. But yeah, I also try to separate it from what I consider a real Terminator film. I don't consider any film after T2 being legit. They just taint the franchise for me...

Same with me. Genisys wasn't anywhere near as bad as I'd expected but T2 is still the end of the series for me. A perfect ending.

I'm a little sad that Plastic Enemies teasers were JUST for the Part II Marty figure. Still absolutely zero sign of Doc.Brown.

I think I'm losing hope on that one. At least temporarily, HT don't look interested.
