Looks like there is no likeness dispute going on granted its 1/10 scale. So where is he Hot toys surely a sculpt revision wouldn't take this long

He even looks more like Drax than the HT version

There's no explanation other than that HT went back to the drawing board on Drax. He's coming with a new sculpt with personality and a brand new custom designed huge body. Its Gonne blow our god damn minds.

Hello everyone! New collector here. I've been a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. About a year or two ago, I stumbled across Hot Toys. I was blown away by the detail. With Guardians of the Galaxy releasing, I knew this is where I wanted to start my collection.

This is where the frustration sinks in. My girlfriend bought me Rocket, Groot, and Gamora. I purchased Star-Lord. We've been waiting patiently for Drax to be released. But it's seeming more and more that it's just not happening.

I wanted the full set. And I'll continue to wait patiently. Just frustrating that the new sculpt (or whatever the hold up is) is taking so long.

Anyone else worried we might not see a Drax figure until Guardians 2 is released? Or am I just being a newb and overreacting. Lol

By the way, happy to be here! I've loved these forums for awhile! Just finally decided to register and post.

First off to the Forum

Congrats on grabbing the entire line, Starlord and Gamora came out well and I have confidence that Groot and Rocket will too

As for Drax, I still think we will get him this year(or at least up for PO this year). Obviously its impossible to tell at this point, and as much as you don't want to hear this all that's needed now is a little more patience

I'm beginning to think he won't be made until GoTG2.
