It would be ridiculous to make this figure an exclusive. There are plenty of collectors who want to have the entire team and will therefore buy Drax anyway. They changed the head sculpt for Star Lord from the original SDCC display, so it can't be too hard to re do a Drax sculpt. Then they can just do a more muscular body and collectors will be happy with it.

Ronan, Yondu or Nebula should be an exclusive. They really should do one of the bad guys, other than Thanos, considering he didn't actually interact with the guardians in this film.

I agree about it being an exclusive, it should be a regular release. However we don't actually know the reason he has yet to be announced.

I am worried we aren't going to see him released until GOTG 2 now....so much else going on for Hot Toys - Star Wars - Avengers 2...there isn't even a number space for him...he would be MMS285...long way away from the MMS 250 series of the others....6

Better late than never... and since when does the mms number matter? They have been releasing Iron Man 3 figures non-stop since before the movie came out and they are hardly close to eachother on the list... hell the still make Iron Man 2 figures (Stark and Whiplash mk2)
