What are the chances this gets released as a convention exclusive? Maybe Hot Toys was concerned about sitting on tons of unsold Draxs if they released it as a regular figure. But make it a limited exclusive and they can even charge a little extra....

I would pay up to 500 just to complete the team ...

I'd take him as he is now rather than not have him at all.

But I truly believe he is coming after some revisions and he's going to blow us away.

I don't believe for a second they are having image rights problems. I think they knew he was below par and went back to the drawing board with him.

They should do a better job at keeping collectors informed, rather than leaving everyone in limbo to make all sorts of assumptions...making a small update or announcement isn't hard

Somebody said that Batista is under the same Legends contract as The Rock

And low and behold we have a hot toys Roadblock I do think it's hot toys making revisions and having the hype and hysteria build up for an anticipated release

I've seen so many other figures using Batista's likeness as Drax. Why the hold up with HT's release only? Makes no sense. I'm thinking something else is the hold up.

How do you know the order numbers? Thought Star-Lord EX sold out fast and so did the Groot/Rocket 2Pack eventually.

the ex may sell out, the reg is gunna haunt SSC for the next year and a bit, same with strike Cap, everyone bailed and groot and rocket are still available, just not the two pack with the bonus ****

Correct me If I'm wrong but over the past 18 months I don't recall any figure that went up for preorder and completely sold out besides GA Cap. It's hard to gauge how a figure is selling now.

They mass produced of lot of their products last year, I remember reading somewhere, hence the overstock and discounts and deals to get rid of their inventory. According to them, they said it was not going to happen this year but who really knows.

But yeah, a CON-EX means they can up the price on it, and collectors of the first 4 will almost certainly being paying the price for it, pun intended (or is it double entendre? ).

It would be nice if HT became a bit more transparent when it comes to figures in limbo like this one... I'm sure they have their reasons for the hush treatment, but it's annoying at the consumer end. Maybe they just like keeping their competitors on constant edge by making them think they're making superior products that we'll never see

I hope he's not exclusive to any conventions, that would be cruel on the collectors who have gone all in for the set.

I'm calling a Drax & Ronan double set, complete with some yellow goo and a Hadron Enforcer SS exclusive
