I collect characters I like, not LINES of entire teams. Too expensive, no room. Just my thoughts.

Nothing wrong with having just Star-Lord and Gamora in the case together. That's what my GOTG display is gonna be and I couldn't be more excited for it!

Guys....lets be honest, it's a horrible looking figure anyway (as is Rocket).
Starlord and Gamora for me.

The only thing that really bothers me is the wrist area and the facial expression. The sculpt looks fine, its just his expression. Makes him look sad. He needs to look angry.

I think it's the fact that he looks sooo.... calm? Like it doesn't even have to be a drastic change of expression, it could literally be one of those 'Wolverine'-style glares and the figure would look infinitely better.

Guys I'm fairly new to the forum and I had a lot of catching up to do so I went for the star-lord forum as he is my next figure coming to join the collection in the hopes they will release the entire GOTG line and then i saw this...

What are the chances this gets released as a convention exclusive? Maybe Hot Toys was concerned about sitting on tons of unsold Draxs if they released it as a regular figure. But make it a limited exclusive and they can even charge a little extra....

Hahaha thanks guys !! The whole Drax situation is getting so crazy that if I see anything related to him My mind goes like OMG THEY ARE GOING TO ANNOUCE HIM!! TAKE ALL MY MONEY NOW !!! After a couple of minutes you realize you might just have to buy the starboost Iron man as a replacement to set up a custom Guardians of the Galaxy team...
