They arent so big on villians. With the exception of a few (Joker/loki) They dont sell well. And then most people wouldnt pick up ronin without having the rest of the group.

He was kind of an uninteresting Villain.... he might be made, but the chance is remote at best

I was watching a special feature where gunn was saying how he had much more planned for ronan but the studio had him cut it all out. He actually says that too, that people want their heroes.

Take this info with a pinch of salt as it comes from Forbidden Planet staff (Who knows what they know, but It sounds plausible)

Drax is apparently either cancelled or delayed indefinately due to a likeness despute between HT and the wrestling folks.

I'd so much like to get him. And he's not even that much of a villain anymore in the comics, and a much, much deeper character than in GotG.
When they annouced the Inhumans movie I though they could use him a bit in that but he's apparently dead in the MCU so...

It's a well-known rumor, I personally don't put much credit into it but I don't know anything, really. Just wondering why Hasbro or the likes would have no problem releasing their Bautista figures if there was a likeness issue.

They will wait till the day after all the Guardiands are released to drop the bomb that this guys is canceled, in order to avoid the cancelations....smh
