I was sold when I saw he had tats on his body. Hopefully it's throughout. I'll be swapping heads since I'm not a huge fan of the headaculpt but the body tats... Can't wait to see how this turns out.

I doubt it'll be full-body tats, probably painted just a few mm either side of what you can see in the promo pics.

Was on the fence till I saw Clone Wars last night. Called my local shop when it opened to preorder it.

I wanted it already but Yes!!! Now it?s a must for me. These most recent 2 episodes have been fantastic. Be cool if HT ventured into this realm of figures since they are with Into The Spiderverse. I?d love an Ashoka, but might get one from Mandalorian

Was already on board for this one. The recent episode of Clone Wars sure helped cinch the deal. Great stuff with Maul. Ray Park's mo-cap work for the animators really elevated those fight scenes. This figure is more of a must now.

Wouldn't expect a high number of these produced and if the quality shines anywhere close to the prototype it's going to look great.

Was always going to get this because it's Maul, but damn what an episode... S7 E10 of the Clone Wars was amazing.

It adds an entire new layer to Maul because....

in the end he was an anti-hero. He tried to stop Palpatine's plan and tried to kill Anakin. He started the first "rebel alliance" of sorts. Even had Ahsoka join his cause... until he mentioned Anakin and the need to kill him. Even more tragic.

I did think to get this guy after that episode of Clone Wars, but if they do a Solo 2 show/movie with Qi'ra and him, surely Hot Toys will re-do his look in that. But I guess that's a pretty big "if" at this point.

I’m still shocked there isn’t a Qi’ra...she would certainly sell. If not just to the Star Wars fans but I’m sure many would buy a nice Emilia Clarke Sixth Scale lol. But seriously, everytime I look that this has both a Qi’ra and Maul hologram I can’t help but think she was planned. I would get her most likely. I mean, there’s dozens of characters I’d want first, but I would still grab her. I do love this Maul though.

Right? I had to repaint the cheap 5 dollar target junk for a 1/6th version of Qi'ra. Articulation is complete junk but oh well.

It's a shame HT will most likely never do Qi'ra and a bigger shame Hasbro chose that costume/look over her main one.

Found the my first Qi'ra by chance for ?5 while doing the weekly shop, and then a second for ?2.50 a week later.

Having two it was worth the experiment to repaint.

Didn't know what to do with the second, until I realised she looked a bit like Scooby Apocalypse Velma...
