As much as i wanted this figure mechanical legs and all, rewatching Maul fight Pre Vizsla in Clone Wars makes me want the CW one more. Head sculpts on the two look very similar, and yes waay better than TPM. Oh well.

@Choombaz, I hear you- the CW version will be pretty awesome. Even head swapping the D16 on the CW Maul could be pretty cool. But, you know what I will say right? When the choice gets tough, just get em all!

So many possibilities with this guy!

This is Maul's mech legs done right! Better than the Sideshow Mythos statue and much better than the HT Clone Wars version.

I think I like the bottom of Maul better than the top. Those legs are just so badass. Are people planning to display this guy with the few SOLO figures?

I put a Darth Maul in cart just to see 450 HKD Hong Kong post 470 HKD EMS.

I got an invoice for 990 postage HKD for 3 mauls, I ordered 4.

There is always something with this fu@@ing company!

I also have been given a tracking number for an item supposedly shipped beginning CP with the following message for over a week.

"This number can't be found at this moment. It's not available in the carrier's system yet. Please check back later."

Sounds like they may have given you the wrong tracking number. They did that to me once.


The 'EA' tracking for Maul has turned out to be Speedpost (Parcelforce), which explains the higher cost.


I was planning to move away from KGH, but from January 1st 2021 everything's changing anyway. Every non-UK retailer is meant to be VAT registered with the UK, and they're meant to collect VAT up front before sending your order out.

There's apparently not going to be any exemption for 'GIFTs', so anything marked as such would incur tax once it arrives in the UK.


I have a lot of outstanding orders from KGH and OSK which will be arriving next year, so not sure how they'll be dealt with. I haven't read from any of the usual retailers that they're aware of the new rules.

Decided to test out the light up feature...not bad to install at all...not the easiest either, but after dealing with installing accesories on 3rd party TFs... this was a test to do.

Alright I finally caved and ordered this guy at monkeydepot. Even though I found the movie totally forgettable, the figure just looks too incredibly badass with those robot legs and that lightsaber. And I just love the whole Mythos-style vibe he has.
