So I loved this guy right out of the box!

However, I did do a headsculpt swap and was happy with that.

Today I modified his body in the way Skyler documented a while back. I also modified the shoulders a bit.

Here are a few pics of the modified Endgame Cap along with a couple comparisons with Civil War Cap. As I said before I think CW Cap is great but I think the Endgame version is better in just about every way, except maybe his colors could be a little brighter.

I think you should both just keep your Mark VI. The Mark 85 figure left a bit to be desired in the accuracy department and the BD version will likely be the same figure just with the BD parts - even those BD parts might not be done well.

This. I’m leaning towards canceling my PO for 85, unless it turns out phenomenal, which I’m not holding my breath on. Mk VII is currently my only Iron Man, and I’m good with that (until they release an accurate mk III, again, not holding my breath)

HT posted this announcement to their site on Friday - does anyone know what it's about? MMS536 is this figure - maybe something about shipments? I checked their Facebook page and I don't see anything related.

Headshots! The Evans likeness is quite good with specific angles and lighting. Took a little work to find it and at points along the way he sometimes looked like a blonde Christian Bale repaint and at other times I felt like I saw a bit of that young Val Kilmer look I thought was really prevalent in the original prototype. But in these photos I think it's bang on!

yeah, from my rough translation theyre saying there might be slight differences but they're legit. maybe theyre talking about the short collars lmao
beast kingdom is a hot toys distributor in Taiwan, and reports of the short collar is from Taiwan / Indonesia sellers. this might be it

Personally, I think it is an incredible likeness, I think it is one of the best Hot Toys has done. I’m not saying it is perfect, but when looking at this sculpt I don’t think there is any doubt about who it is supposed to be.

Yeah this is a really good figure. Although he is not a really complex figure, I find his costume to have a lot of visual interest. This (for me) is the best overall representation of Captain America that Hot Toys has produced.

holy crap its worse than I thought. the wide/spread out shoulder remind of me of the D23 release, very gorilla like lmao
they are comparing taiwan to china/hong kong batches
basically customers are complaining about the differences regarding the cap figure

yeah, certainly seems like it...d23 body with new headsculpt smh
also, if you look on ebay you can find some of this body only figure for around $180 USD. the seller is usally in Malaysia/Indonesia/Taiwan and they all have the same problem
