Hopefully it's just a prototype thing, but this concerns me:



It's appears to (currently) just be a plastic molded piece sort of glued on over the suit, and not "tied in" in any believeable way.

Hopefully we'll get some other angles.

The prottypes in some cases look better than the actual product (superb headsculpt painting), but the clothes can be a bit thrown together and are traveling a lot.)

I have seen displayed figures start looking a little worn fairly quickly. The quick glue doesnt hold up to getting hucked in and out of buckets a lot.

Cap definitely looks unfinished/ incomplete. Overall tho he looks good.

Yeah, agreed it’s just a prototype. Usually a prototype intended for display purposes at cons are just hastily thrown together so that way they have something to display to give you an idea of what it’d look like.

Regardless, I was initially all in for this figure, but now I’m kind of ambivalent. The scales look awesome, but when it comes down to it, it’s still essentially CW Cap. Not sure if the scales alone would warrant a $250 purchase. I think in order for me to get this, he’d have to die in the film and the body on the figure would have to be the concept body or better to where this is unequivocally their best Cap effort.

Otherwise, I think I may just stick with the CW one.

I like this figure but not enough for me to warrant another Cap purchase....unless he dies in Endgame and someone else takes up the mantle.

Seriously hoping they use the concept body for this as well as use the same method they did for the traps on the concept. Don’t take a step back HT.

Now that Hawkeye / Ronin has been revealed, I really hope this Cap gets the same treatment and comes with a new sculpt (of similar quality).

i wish white had been added to the arms again by the costume designers to change it up a little from the CW costume. I know the scales are there but the CW suit looks so drab

Had A1 but it was looking kinda dated.

I’ve been holding out for a Classic-looking mail-clad Cap, but a little disappointed there’s no white on this one like AoU Cap. Interested nonetheless, but not yet ready to bite.

It looks as though the prototype has rubber for any of the scaled sections. And the sleeves have the rubber material for increased articulation on the elbows. The inner shoulders and abdomen seem to be the places they chose to use cloth for. Though a lot of things can change from prototype to final release.
