They essentially killed off Hulk. Hulk was a completely separate personality from Bruce. This character was just Bruce in a small Hulk body.

Exactly. The character was unfortunately weak, just a big green bruce banner. I think this figure really could have used two face sculpts. I mean any emotion, whether it was angry or smiling would have been huge. But the genericness of the character helped feed the genuineness in the figure. Probably the only EG figure I will skip.

There was smart hulk in the comics, but he was still a savage badass, but had the intelligence of Banner to balance things out. We didn't see a good hulk out in this movie.

Not too familiar with the comic incarnations, but I just feel like this movie didn't do justice to the Hulk character. I think this was supposed to be like Professor Hulk from the comics, but that character combined the best attributes of Banner, Grey Hulk, Savage Hulk. We never really saw him be Hulk in Endgame. It was just Bruce all the time. When the Ancient One knocked Bruce's conscious out of Hulks body and the body was completely lifeless - that really made me feel like Hulk was completely gone.

In terms of the figure itself, the movie design was not so great - so can't really blame Hot Toys. Hulk in his civilian clothes would probably have looked better, but can understand why they went with this version due to it being the one that did the snap, so they could include the gauntlet.

Don't like what they did to Thor either character-wise, but the design is awesome and the figure looks great.

So he was more of a literal smart Hulk rather than a Banner Hulk as in the movie then right?

Yeah, he was highly Intelligent, but somewhat Brash/cocky. This movie made him much awkward and nerdier then the comics.

Yeah it looks under sized to me too. Not sure if the head really is too small or it?s just the thick material used on the suit that makes it so

I may skip this also. The only Hulk figure I have is from A1. I think that?s the best one with the ripped pants and moving eyes.

And when you put the A1 Hulk body with the Gladiator Hulk head. You get what this Hulk should have pointed to. I did it and he looks very cool.

I would Like to see a picture of that. Bet it looks good without the helmet. I was happy the color matched A1 Hulk. The olive color of AOU Hulk was disappointing.
