The hair sculpt looks so much better then the first. I'll probably get this one. I'm going to assume Black Widow is next followed by Iron Man & then Hulkie. Think by July we will see all of them.

We all want an extra screaming 'battle cry' head sculpt for Thor. Something that says "I am summoning lightening from the sky now, behold!" : or he could just be yawning, either one is fine

I often wonder when would be best to sell on your older versions in favour of the update.
I would prefer to have a Thor in my cabinet for as long as possible before getting the new version but i worry about it dropping in price the closer you get to the release date of the new version.

Yeah, that's a dilemma. I think that once full specs go up on this new guy, folks are gonna have a harder time getting as much as they can now (around $200, sometimes higher) considering the outfits are more or less similar. But if you like having a Thor constantly on display, then that might be a cost you are willing to bear. If the new figure has no helmet, then I think the value of the first release will remain above initial retail. I don't see it falling under $150 or so in any case, so I don't think there are huge gains or losses attempting to sell at one time vs. another.

Well, I'm figuring the update will cost $215-225, based on the price of Cap. The old one can be sold for near that now, but if it goes back near retail (say, $170ish), factoring in eBay/Paypal costs, you'll probably end up having to pay $60 or so on top of what you get.

I had this wonderful plan. I have CA on order, I have HE on order, I already have IM vIII, I already had Thor v1....

with plans to PO HULK. Fury and BW on secondary market.

See? My 'assembled' AVENGERS, but with some small compromises.

All for crap now though! That hair sculpt alone is enough to make me re-consider my intentions.
