Agreed!!

I think the sculpt is good, and the Maxnut heads look ok as well.

I'm a bit surprised a third party did not attempt to make this version of Killmonger, and HT too since they surprisingly released T'Chaka and Shuri.

I did get excited when I saw this but later found out that it was a 1/6 statue. The headsculpt is phenomenal though. Much better than the hot toys one. Would be ideal if anyone wanted to kitbash a killmonger figure.

Fellas, just received my Killmonger yesterday and gotta say...it's AMAZING! Man, that headsculpt is simply fantastic...easily top 5.

Speaking of which, is the Michael B. Jordan impossible to pop into place? I'm able to get it on there, but it doesn't seem to fully pop into place...also I'm kinda weary of trying to get it down all the way for fear of damaging the gold lines on the back neck of the costume. I remember reading a forum member's advice to not jam it all the way in as he ended up destroying portions of the gold lining.

Agree, it's a fantastic figure! Glad HT made this great villain.

Yeah I agree it is an amazing figure top to bottom.

I wish I could help with the headsculpt issue. I have only used the masked head. But I do remember a forum member cautioning against being rough while putting the unmasked sculpt on

I couldn't tell you - I inspected the MBJ sculpt, but I never bothered to put it on the body. :lol Is the head plug too tight on the neck's ball joint, or is it bottoming out? Apologies in advance if I'm stating the obvious here: If it's the former, you can open up the I.D. of the plug by boring it out by hand* with a slightly larger drill bit; if it's the latter, you can extend the hole a bit deeper into the head using the same technique (but use a drill bit the same size as the plug I.D.).

* - Just to be clear: When I say by hand, I mean hold the bit in your fingers - no power tools (i.e., electric drills) allowed!!

Thanks for the advice Buffinator, but I'm not handy enough for a job like that...nor do I have the balls to attempt any non-reversible modifications on my precious $200+ toys! :lol

Thanks anyways...the helmeted mask is great too, but jeez, when HT does such a phenomenal job with the actor's portrait it feels like a crime to just leave it in the box!

Not handy enough??? :slap It's pretty much the equivalent of a kid sharpening a No. 2 pencil with one of those old mini-sharpeners - just put the head on the drill and twist. Just make sure to stop before the drill comes out the top of the head! :lol And all of these heads use the same cylindrical plug inside, so if you were to accidentally make it too large/loose, just grab a needle-nose pliers and pull another one out of a head you're not using.

Haha, see the latter part of my previous statement...my balls be lacking! :banana

Any interest in selling the sculpt?

No, eventually I'll use it. I like to change up the looks of my figures after a while, and that sculpt is too nice to leave in the box forever. Plus I might use it to kitbash a tactical suit version. It would make things easier if one of these companies made/sold the clothes. If HT isn't going to make him, I vote for Art Figures. IMO they do nice work - especially with tactical outfits.

...been working on the King/Reverend version of Killmonger. I?ve searched far and wide for a way to make the necklace. So far a paper cut out will do lol.
I?m so glad I went the extra mile and got the HT headsculpt. I previously had the angry Nutpiz sculpt it was nice, however it?s just not quite at the HT quality yet. I?ll end up just painting the scars with thick acrylic. Somehow I?ll find a better neckpiece? any suggestions would be great
