I have a Medicom boba packed away somewhere. I always thought that the size of the helmet would be smaller compared to the SS and HT versions, but it actually looks much the same. To me the Medicom helmet is by far the most accurate in shape. Has anyone out there got the HT version and swapped the helmet out for the Medicom? If so I would be very appreciative if they could post a pic of the result.
I always thought the medicom’s proportions were spot on. I’d like to see the helmet on the HT body as well.
Without the helmet on the proportions don’t look that bad. It’s all the bad helmet that throws this off. Too bad.The Medicom helmet needs to be modified to fit properly on HT neck pegs, and I'm not ready to commit to doing that yet. But, here's the stock Medicom helmet on the HT figure (minus the padding under the jumpsuit - I hate what the padding does to the proportions). The helmet is only being held in place with museum putty on the neck, as I had to remove the neck peg to make this work. Not exactly what was asked for, but this should give a fair sense for how it would look if done properly. The inside of the helmet would obviously have to be modified in a way that would set the helmet lower down on the neck. This helmet probably looks better on the actual Medicom figure because that body is significantly smaller than the HT one, thus making the helmet look wider. But, yeah, the Medicom helmet is close to the same size as all the other 1/6 helmets.

From the Sideshow listing:I think with advertising standards they would have to show/disclose that, do we have a product description yet?
That's what I was think too. It doesn't look dark enough for ESB.Should the chest piece, cod piece and helmet on the ROTJ suit be darker than on the ESB suit?
I really hope Hot Toys redoes the helmet. I gave the ROTJ version a pass for being a first attempt for HT, but I had really hoped they would've paid extra attention to getting the ESB helmet/visor shape correct. I want to be so hyped for this figure, but I just can't be with the helmet looking so off. The T visor is too long, too wide, and the eye-line is too high up on the helmet. I always think of the ESB helmet as being flared, and this helmet has next to none. Really hoping they do a BvS Batman with this and really turn it around on release.

No they are different. It's subtle but they are different. I don't mean just the colour [emoji6]So there is our answer. The helmet is definitely the same sculpt. Just repainted. That’s a real shame.
