excellent work! The SSC gauntlets and weathering on the bottom of his pants really makes a difference!
Freaking out a bit over here..just got my Fett from Timcent and was annoyed the shipper was just wrapped in paper instead of being in another box. But oh boy, it got much worse! To my surprise figure isn't even in it's shipper! In the 8 years of collecting HT I've never gotten a figure that wasn't sealed in it's shipper. .....so I just paid top dollar for a ****** used figure. Wow, funny how Timcent was recommended, and I end up with a shipper-less hand me down figure wrapped in bubble wrap. Guess I should be surprised the figure box was included! Does anyone at all know why this figure wasn't sealed in the shipper; like EVERY SINGLE Hot Toys figure is?

Correct me if Im wrong but if a figure is purchased directly from the Secret Base store than it doesn't come with shipper right?
What do you mean by "the figure isn't even in its shipper"?
Do you mean you were shipped a figure in the black product box wrapped in bubble wrap without the raw cardboard shipper, or that the figure itself was somehow missing?
I think he means just the black hot toys box and no shipper. That’s how mine came. I’m prettt sure Timcent buys directly from secret base and so they don’t give out shippers if you do that. Budget stark has a video talking about buying from there directly. You didn’t get screwed. Your figure just came from the place itself

Oh, okay. There seems to be a lot of love for those cardboard shippers lately - whether you get one, whether it has shipping labels over it.

Yeah, I asked them as well, so just waiting on a reply that'll just be some rhetoric and not explain why. But people on here have bought from the guy, so they'd probably be able to tell me the explanation of the no shipper. The figure box is fine..minus the major moldy funk smell. But this has nothing to do with the figure box condition, it has to do with it being 'used' since it's not MISB in a sealed shipper box. Timcent definitely should have mentioned in the auction that the figures aren't sealed in the shipper because all the ESB Boba's come 50 to a box or some ******* like that.Sounds like something you should be asking Timcent.
Did the box come damaged or anything?
my garage is full of the damn things anyway because I know it'll somehow add value when I resell my figures someday.

Thanks for giving me some clarity with this. It still should have definitely been mentioned in the auction.I think he means just the black hot toys box and no shipper. That’s how mine came. Yeah, I don't care at all about how many labels are slapped on the shipper or even if there's dings and such. My only concern is a sealed shipper box, which is the only way to know that the figure hasn't been tampered with post-manufacturing. It's interesting that collectors don't look at this the same way with 1/6 figures compared to smaller action figures that aren't sealed but sold as brand new.Oh, okay. That makes no sense. lol - the shipper has everything to do with it being MISB or not. Most all 1/6 figure packagings don't put manufacturing tape or anything of the such that seals the figure inside, to show it hasn't been opened. By placing a figure in a shipper box and the manufacturer putting their tape on the top and on the bottom shows that the figure is 'mint in sealed box'.I don't think the shipper is part of the figure. Its the shipper. To be shipped in. MISB has nothing to do with the shipper.
Unfortunately no. The only Hot Toys figure I've ever got that had that was the Classic Predator. And that particular size and kind of clear round tape is not easy to come by. It'd be nice if they all came that way so you'd know what you're getting hasn't been tampered with.Don’t the Hot Toys boxes usually have a clear round adhesive sticker that seals the box along the top and bottom?

Haha, yeah that doesn't work with me. I've seen that done before or even peeling off manufacturing tape and slapping new tape on a bag. There's all sorts of tricks that I easily spot. But that's some pretty shady **** that your local store does. I think it's funny when people get upset when collectors do a switch-a-roo with an action figure. Since in that situation you can tell right away that it's a different figure; but when it comes to what you were mentioning, you never know the details. And I do have the deluxe ordered from Sideshow.Someone can easily tape over the tape before and make it look unsealed. I know local comic book shops do this after making sure everything in the box looks good and is undamaged with no QC issues
Doesn't mean they're not used either. Yeah, that hasn't been my experience. I've purchased more than a few Hot Toys from overseas; including China and they've all been sealed in the shipper. But I understand fully now; it came from Secret Base. Glad to know this is a normal thing that I just never experienced. I appreciate everybody's help. You're used to buying from Sideshow, they get shippers and send those out to most everyone who they distribute to in the U.S. TimCent likely gets his direct from Hot Toys at Secret Base. Why should he mention that it doesn't have a shipper if none of them there do? You didn't get a used figure.
Every figure I've purchased from HongKong/China did not have the shipper, doesn't mean they're used.
