First impressions are this is great. Looks good. Paint work seems nice and outfit is wicked the accessories look good as always even if I won’t be using them.

The boots Move. - not too rigid and she takes a nice pose.
I haven’t really looked at the accessories and hadn’t even notified the single hand.
It’s a really nice figure though one of my favourites for a while.
Looks like Leia is actually there.

Need a bespin Han now for the hoth evacuation.

Only a dozen!? I think I had just ordered Hoth Leia the week before with a $20 coupon and so there was nothing I “needed.” It was sort of between the Gunner and K-2 but I had recently decided to skip Rogue One since I was already invested in the OT and ST. I’m rethinking that though—picked up K-2 as he’s the best new SW character and have started messing with the idea of branching out from SW with that Indy custom, which is coming along.

It really pays to be cheap in this hobby.

In the past year or so I've gotten a second Luke Snowspeeder for US $155 shipped (first was $120 after RP,) SSC 4-LOM for US$120 shipped (I still believe both those were accidental "double discounts" at the LCS,) HT Snowtrooper for US$140 shipped (sale price plus coupon, less than I paid for my SSC Snowie 5 years ago) and got Jawas, Hoth Leia and ATAT driver with $50 off coupons. So yeah, overall, I've probably only paid full/regular retail on a dozen or less (usually with a standard $20 Sideshow coupon like everyone does though) mostly because I thought it'd sell out - HT stormies for example.

I swore Luke Snowsp was my last fig ordered from SSC, but I have $55 in RP from Spook, which will either go on Luke Jedi (not 100% on the look of the hair, likeness not quite nailed) or Zuckuss.

I view the pricing of these figures now as an act of war, so you gotta think like a partisan.

That's pretty awesome, TB! I also have only paid full price for just a handful of figures. I think the last ones I did that for were HT ANH Han and Chewie. At the very least I would use the old $20 codes, but I usually use points or gift cards that I request from my family for the holidays. But I haven’t done nearly as well as you have!

Individuals much more intelligent and well versed in the Hot Toys Star Wars line will do great reviews and unboxings on YouTube, all I’m gonna say is that I’ve had to customize a lot of figures in the past to get them right, and I feel this one is pretty much bang on right out of the box, and amazing likeness of Carrie Fisher, definitely looks like an ESB Leia, it just leads to one question: When the ____ are we going to get a decent ESB Han?

I misread you. For some reason I interpreted your remark as meaning you had only purchased 12 full figures, meaning the other 68 or so you put together with parts. Since I know you do lots of customizing I thought that was crazy but maybe possible.

Good work on the discounts though. After my first ignorant purchase I’ve probably always used the $20 coupon at least, and then I’ve stumbled upon great deals at times — $200 shipped for the ANH Stormtrooper set was probably the best score. When I come across some stupid deal I often bite if I had some passing interest in the figure. Gives me a chance to check out a figure I might otherwise only enjoy through pics since I don’t have a local store. Was able to get the Batman Returns two pack for the price of the single Batman figure. Turned out it wasn’t for me but was awesome to check out a figure like that and it was easy to make my money back.

In general I find that if I can really wait out a figure I probably am not that excited about it. I tried waiting out on TFA Han and he ended up selling out at SS sooner than most. I think that figure was when they started the smaller runs.
