:exactly:

Although I don't think anyone is really complaining per se, more just laughing at how inaccurate the accessories that likely nobody is going to pose her with, are.

Probably exactly what HT said actually.

"Sir, it actually looked like this, not like this."

"Who gives a **** nobody's going to be posing her with these things anyway. Just so we can say she included some accessories."

Goggles, gasmask and holding the welder could be an interesting look that no one would have suspected.

Yeah, as I posted earlier, I'm probably going to pose her with the welder/goggles. It would be a great pairing with a HT Han Bespin too (it it ever shows up:(.)

I like the idea of posing her with the gas mask, but just with the gas mask hanging around her neck, personally.

Personally I think its ********. We are paying top dollars for accuracy. Anything less is pretty much telling HT we don't care if you cut corners here to there!!

Maybe they do it to screw with your heads.

I can see them laughing as they read these complaints.

Maybe more the reason you shouldn’t buy it is because it’s a plastic doll, not because it’s air canister is inaccurate. Plastic doll’s are sure to have inaccuracies

Yeah, I used a $50 coupon for Leia Hoth with Sideshow and the NRD, so no backing out for me.

Wow - 19 figures. I wish I had your self (and space-imposed) control. I really need to do an inventory but my guess is I'd have to be well over 80 figs now (SW and Indy only though except one GB) but about a 1/3 are custom figures that cost under $100. While most salivate over some new MCU fig, I'm toiling away on an Ugnaught and Rancor Keeper.:lol

Only about a dozen of mine would be "full price" figs - I usually only ever grab great deals that come up - and half of those would be from 3-5 years ago with somewhat lower prices.

Only a dozen!? I think I had just ordered Hoth Leia the week before with a $20 coupon and so there was nothing I “needed.” It was sort of between the Gunner and K-2 but I had recently decided to skip Rogue One since I was already invested in the OT and ST. I’m rethinking that though—picked up K-2 as he’s the best new SW character and have started messing with the idea of branching out from SW with that Indy custom, which is coming along.

I don't know how you do it, I just am not wired this way. Between my toy habit and other interests I have to rent storage. Keep telling myself that someday I'll give up the convenience of my condo for a full blown house. Also my detolfs range from 2-4 on a shelf, I prefer 2 as well but it simply is not possible.

It’s a pain in the ***. When I finally buy a place I’ll have the space, but then money will be short and that will dictate my purchasing habits. Yay! :lol I’ve considered storage (currently keep the empty boxes in a basement), but I tell myself that if I’m okay having an actual figure boxed up then I probably don’t really want it. Some figures I know from he outset are stand-ins (like ROTJ Boba).

I’ve only been collecting 1/6 for a few years (since I joined this forum pretty much) and I’m still just not used to the space it takes up—used to collect 3 3/4” so it was really just the ships and their boxes that took up space. Outside of 1/6 I have a couple props and am tempted to pick up a studio scale ship if the opportunity presents itself. The MR Falcon would be amazing, but that thing goes for a fortune these days.

If the Falcon cockpit is still a future release, you could have leia doing the repairs while Han relaxes.

Don't... do... storage. It is the greatest pricing scam in the history of the world. they get you in with $90/mo, then three years later you realize they have raised it the sixth time up to $220/mo... and it goes from there. I hate Public Storage with a passion (they bought out Shurguard many years ago, which WAS a decent enough company.) They will gleefully steal your child's college tuition and then auction off all your stored belongings.

If you can't store it at home - don't buy it in the first place, or sell it.

Yeah, ultimately I figured that every few months of storage (if it was just for figures/collectibles and some of my GFs winter clothes or whatever) could be a new 1/6 figure. Would rather do my constant buy/sell BS. Plus I get to find out that most of the “better in hand” figures are often just “same as in the pics I saw” figures.

I try to display as much as I can in a designated theater room. Even if some figures only come out every once in a while my collection feels more complete to me knowing that I have it all. Eventually I will move to a bigger place, but I hear you the struggle is real:lol

I also can relate regarding the MR Falcon. I bought the Deago kit when it went on sale and also the bandai perfect grade. No idea when I will tackle those projects, maybe in retirement;). Other old geezers will be hot rodding cars, golfing, or fishing and meanwhile I'll be trying to figure out where to glue the next greeblie.

Have to find the right situation. I rent a climate controlled space for $30 a month from a friend of my parents.

Growing up, one of my buddies’ dad would put together/paint model WWII planes as a hobby. I enjoyed it as a kid with Star Wars kits, but my painting skills were crap and never seemed to progress. Always felt like the final step was me painting the model and ruining it. :lol Hope EFX does a studio scale B-wing. Still a lot of OT offerings that MR didn’t get to.

Yeah, a friend of mine went into the storage business and that can be a sweet deal. And sorry, I'm talking L.A. with those price gouges - if you're in a more regional city/place it's possible the gouging isn't nearly as bad. I would assume all major cities would be the same though.

Indeed this is in the Midwest. The space is a former hardware store that has been converted into storage units:lol

Straight out of HK. Just a couple of quick shots.
First impressions are this is great. Looks good. Paint work seems nice and outfit is wicked the accessories look good as always even if I won’t be using them.
