Exactly my thought.

Besides, there are always technical limitations of a "toy" because of the scale and for articulation purpose, which I personally wouldn't take for flaws.

Agree 100%
I?m just hoping sideshow get this soon like some of their other releases that have had a quick turnaround from hk release to sideshow getting them

Absolutely...these TOYS are still freakin' works of arts!

Looking forward to receiving this in 2020 hopefully...it's been an expensive year already, so fingers crossed for Jan 2020!

I think there's just some weird lens distortion and photoshop going on with that photo. If we bring back Xenomorph's pics the proportions look a lot more accurate and it looks a lot bulkier like it should. And the arc reactor appears smaller too.

Even though I got a great price for him, I wish I'd never sold my 6. Great design and a stellar figure.

Go with the Mark VII for sure.
I mean I for one love my Diecast MKIII, I am quite fond of it.

But even as someone that loves the figure, I can understand the hate...it is underscaled, has no ankle tilt, has no ab crunch or twist and doesn?t have those little slight paint chips/grease that we?ve grown accustomed to on even clean IM. The VII is the newest IM and probably the best one yet (in any scale). I think this is the one to own and will be for a while.

As much as I generally prefer the Mk 3 to the 7, I think the 7 is looking like the slightly cooler looking figure at the moment. I've got both on order, but if I could only have one it would be the 7.

Thanks for the input guys. Just realised the QSmkIII isn't diecast, so think this will be the one. :)

No the 1/4 scale isn?t diecast. There hasn?t been a 1/4 diecast as of yet....but I?m assuming there might be some diecast parts for the joints. I don?t have any 1/4 scale Iron Man so those that do can clarify that.

There are metal parts within the structure of 1/4, I've had to dispose of a faulty leg and torso before

I wouldn't use die-cast as my decision for purchasing. I have the quarter and sixth scale Mark 43s and the quarter scale looks better in every way..

I doubt you would really want a 1/4 scale with the diecast gimmick, HT would add $2.00 worth of DC to the legs and raise the price $150.00 The 1/6 versions are heavy enough and they are still about 70% plastic with some diecast added.

I like diecast because of the heft and rigidity it gives to the figure, but I can also completely understand why some may balk at collecting heavy figures if it can cut the cost of the figure significantly, or if you don't handle/repose you figures regularly like I do.

I only have the Enterbay Joker at the moment, but just the sheer size of that figure already gives it the weight and heft of a diecast IM figure, so I imagine the Mk 3 will still feel plenty heavy as well. And visually I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference since HT does such a great job with their paint jobs now.

Not that I know of. I do know some people had their final payment pushed back until December, so I wouldn't expect Sideshow to start shipped out pre-orders until December at the earliest. General availability on Sideshow probably won't happen until well into January 2020, or maybe even February 2020.

I also really like the diecast in the figures, especially the War Machines. I don?t care what ppl say, I still really like it.

Wow that will be a long time between a HK release and Sideshow shipment. Guess it is because it?s mark 7.

There hasn't been any 1/6 Diecast figure either. Like the 1/4 iron Man figures they are mostly plastic with a few diecast pieces.

Very true.
Remember when the Mark 2 IM3 WM had an image of all the diecast parts.
