They've actually managed to make something meaner looking than a T-800 Makes me pray harder for SSC to release an Endoskull. And I love how he has a backpack full of ammo, I suppose?

now to answer some questions. the difference between the T-800 and the T-850 is that the 850 version had dual powercells housed in the chest while the 800 version only had a single powercell.

in T1 kyle said the "600 series had rubber skin" but that was the original timeline. the timeline has changed about 50 times since then, so it would not be outrageous to have a different T-600 design. i think terminatorsite.com has a detailed breakdown of several different timelines stemming from the different movies and TV show. the T4 trailer even has John stating that "this isn't the future his mother warned him about".

I'll be getting my backordered BD bust anyday, but man, I'd much rather have a T-600 Bust. It'd be larger for sure and cost a little more most likely, but it just looks so damn evil.

I think the most obvious difference from the T-700 to the T-800 is the texture of the metal - the T-700's metal doesnt look so smoothe. And it is just me or does the T-600 remind anyone else of Eddie from Iron Maiden esp "The Trooper"? I think I'll pass on the T-700, he looks too similar to the T-800 which I already have but will wait till I see final product.

Well it does show a lack of attention on the filmmakers part to make this brute the T-600, unless in the film we're introduced to variations of the T-600, but the first movie really sets you up to expect a T-600 is just like the T-800, but they hadn't perfected the skin so they were noticeable for that detail, to now have it be a brute makes you feel like George Lucas is making this with the continuity break

I would have to disagree with everyone who's saying that the current T-600 design is not continuous with the first film.

As was seen in T:3, even the flying HK's were different than the original. I think the films were trying to point out that, every time a Terminator was sent back to kill Connor...and failed...it slightly altered the future. Especially since in T:2, Dyson was killed and the rememnants of the FIRST Terminator were destroyed, along with Arnie.

So, when Kyle came back in the first movie...maybe the T-600's were more human like in that timeline. But, due to the continuing alteration of future events, things have changed in Connor's current future.

That's my take on it anyway.
