When was it shipped? My Lando was accepted at HK post 6 days ago and hasn't moved since then.

Having 7 figures at different stages of transit from HK lately (TW/TBA/KGH), it seems parcels tend to sit at the airport for about a week before boarding a plane.

Oct 16 it was processed, Oct 19 it was at HK Office, Oct 21st it arrived in San Fran USPS, Oct 23rd arrived in Seattle USPS - rather fast for free shipping option TBA is impressive!

Love your use of the poncho on this guy, who did he kill for it? Can't have been Luke.
Must have been Marvel 'comics 1977 Starkiller Kid :wink1:

Random trivia; although TMWNN is wearing the poncho in A Fist Full of Dollars(1964) the first of the Dollars trilogy. And again in A Few Dollars More (1965)
You actually see where he gets it, towards the final act of the third in the trilogy, The Good The Bad and the Ugly(1966), picked it up (from a dying soldier he gives his coat too), which officially makes it a prequel.

No.
It's specifically a Cival war soldier, from the battle they were just in (although where he got it, is debatable)
Anyway point was you see where he gets it in the third film, which loosely establishes it as a prequel.

Finally arrived and wow! I can certainly share in the enthusiasm that this figure is receiving!
It looks great!

It's really impressive how this figure that is rendered from so many costume elements we have seen utilized in other figures can look this striking and original.

And it's really impressive considering that at first glance when it previewed for the PO, it just didn't jump out and grab you. Not to say that I didn't PO on day one...I did. I've pretty much been all in on everything HT has produced from Mando. (someday I'll find a way to get that Armorer...)

I haven't been this jazzed about posing and snapping shots of a figure since the Patrol Trooper. That was another figure that seemed almost ho-hum at first glance but ended up being a real solid figure once it arrived and became a favorite.

But this one....just wow.

Just screams that perfect pitch of "man in a suit" with those proportions. Yes, it does have the same posing limitations that other "Mando" figures have had that feature the cumbersome undersuit, but it's forgivable considering how good the figure looks.

It's just such a solid figure. The cut-n-sew is excellent, the accessories and outfit elements are very good. Nothing looks "cheap". The deco is amazing. HT really has a formula down now for achieving such effective "distressed/damaged" looking figures. The magnet on the jetpack should always be a standard way to fasten and secure it with all characters featuring one moving forward. Do I have ANY gripes? Well...yes, just one really.

I'm going to sound like a broken record here, but c'mon HT...just because the character has flight ability does not mean that many collectors will want to have a final display pose featuring that option. PLEASE include both stand supports with ALL of the figures!

A few more looks here....

And finally, it may be a simple pose...but for me it's almost as iconic as Cody holding that holo....
The Death Watch Mandalorian reaches out to the terrified youth to lift him up into a future as a Mandalorian!

I've been enjoying the group shots that folks have been posing of their "Mando"-inspired collections...they look great!
Looking forward to more pics from folks as this fantastic figure shows up in more collections....keep 'em coming!

Great review @jedibear! What’s your final score for DWM? For me it's the second best out of the Mandalorian line, OG Mando taking first place. 8,5/10.

Autumn… Such a great season to photograph this figure in.
