I hadn't thought of that. I'm sure you're right.

Yeah gdb, many have said this, and it makes total sense for HT to announce TDK stuff after the Film opens.

The June announcement may only be for the Tumbler and cosababies or something like that. I'd love if they announced a new fig though, maybe a recurring Character fig...

Way to crap in my cereal there Pjam. :lol Couldn't let me have the "Oh Mike is right" moment....

Dude, please!!!! How many times do you have to pat yourself on the back? :lol Toldja posts can get very tiresome and annoying...

Most members usually post when they're wrong, not when they're right. There's a clue! :D

Sheesh, if everyone on this board posted their own "Oh I was right" moments/comments these threads would be endless and tiresome. Wookster and a few others have said this before. Just keeping it real.

You. Must. Chill!!!! :lol

No worries though Bro, keep those predictions coming. :D

I had no idea I was posting something controversial. :lol

I just got back from Vegas and had missed a couple days of posts. I thought I had caught up in this thread before posting. Props to all who have made that prediction in this thread not just to the Mike, whose post, while perhaps may not have been the premiere post to express those thoughts, was still written succinctly enough for me to catch his thinking.

You gotta give HT credit for taking on such complicated projects. This, the power loader. They could make a ton of easier money on figures. My hat goes off to them. HT rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Malaysia (where I am), the Power Loader is currently the most expensive Hot Toys figure released its close to RM (Ringgit Malaysia) 1000. That works out to be about US $250. The current exchange rate is about US $1: RM 3.80 or so (we normally round it up to the nearest dollar for calculation purposes so US $1 = RM 4).

I'm thinking the Tumbler could be alot cheaper than the Power Loader. Think the Power Loader's price was high due to factoring in the price of a Ripley figure as well? Though it wasn't a Ripley with full gear as with the normal release, I'm sure it affected the price point as well.

I hope the Tumbler is going to be cheaper. I'm at a loss - I want it bad, but the price has got me thinking twice.....

I'm also optimistic that it'll be priced around the same as the Power Loader. I could be wrong but it seems that the Tumbler won't have as much intricate moving parts compared with the power loader. Hopefully that'll keep the price down even though it'll be bigger than the loader.

haha man.. I was barely able to afford the $343 dollors for the Batman and Joker... looks like I won't be seeing the tumbler any time soon..

I'm not expecting that, but would be happily surprised.

There's probably a lot we don't know this does yet. It lights up, the hatch slides open and the wheels no doubt move, but other than that we know nothing more.

Ripley was a throw in. The only reason it was included was the ease and relatively cheap cost of doing so. Look for this at 250.00 IMO. Lighted, all new molds, and size of the packaging and shipping. Maybe 275.00

Yes true, but all these designs seem simpler to me compared with the moving pistons of and all the little moving parts of the power loader. To me it seems that the power loader has more "points of articulation" so that's why I'm hoping for a relatively equal cost. But of course this is all speculation...if I was 100% right then the terminator endoskeleton would have probably been the most expensive HT figure...that thing is amazing.

I'm scared of this line and the HT Iron-Man line being release too close together. I'd be up for all of the Iron-Man suit form Mark 1-3 and Possibly the Iron Monger. With the Tumbler & batpod coming I'm screwed!

I was thinking the tumbler was going to ring in at around $400-$500 and be extreamly limited. Looking at the pictures and comparing it to the Power Loaders it is just massive. You also have to consider all we see is the outside. Knowing HT, I'm expecting the inside is going to be highly detailed as well. I was also guessing the BatPod would run about $175-$200. All speculation, obviously, but the figures aren't cheap either ;)

Yeah, we'll see. I'm thinking more like 250. Remember a 1/6 RC was made for under $100. Not that this won't be more detailed, it will be HT quality but I don't see them pricing themselves out of the market. Howard has been very fair about pricing. Many were saying the PL would be 350 and it ended up being less than 250 from some dealers with a Figure thrown in as a bonus.

That tumbler's insane. I have no idea where I'd display it though. I'd love to just play with it for a day.

The Batpod -- why do they call it a pod, isn't it a cycle? -- is doable on my shelf though. I'll probably get that one.

It's not called the Batbike or Batcycle because it doesn't behave like one. It's a completely new sort of vehicle, not just a design. Apparently you steer with your shoulders and they had several people that couldn't master it because they couldn't get the "cycle" mindset out of their heads. ( From Empire magazine.)
