mabye, but the tumbler is a more complex vechicle than the power loader to copy in accurate 1/6...+ it has the sliding top and detailled interior as far as I can make from the pictures...So the detailling (probably scanned with the computer), the complexity of the sliding mechanism, and the LIGHTS..make me think this is going to be around 400 dollars, at least! (for the tumbler alone)

There was a 1/5 scale Batmobile made for the movie. Taken from specs of the movie :
"When you see the Batmobile flying through the air, that is usually the 1:5 scale miniature version, intercut with shots of the "flap version" of the full-sized car."

that idea is just stupid! that would work if the director was George Lucas and he was making "vechicles" for toy objectives...
this is a Christopher Nolan movie, the doesn't think in ridiculous toy-terms....of course toy makers make it ridiculous aftherwards.
but NO WAY that is going to happen in the movie!
you have to think Nolan! that is: tumbler will get destroyed, and batman makes something else from the scraps of the tumbler....now that would be realistic!

Wonder how Hot Toys will work this out. Apparently the inside of the Tumbler was a studio set. I don't think the Tumbler was this roomy inside looking from the outside. Hot Toys may choose to increase the size of this thing.

Nothing to be confused about. I'd say the Darklord's measurements will be about right. This thing is a monster.
Now the excitement has eased a little, I fairly sure I wont be getting it. I'd want to be able to sit Batman inside it, not just be able to open the cockpit. Even then, it's too much. I only have one spot that would be big enough, and then it would be sitting there looking awkward, as in sitting there squarely, no room to actually enhance a display, by having it angular, with Batman off to the side.
Though, we still don't know much about it, other than big, expensive, and the cockpit opens. Oh, and the wheels will go round. We still don't know if it will be able to shift from drive to leap mode. Probably wont.
As it stands, I think we really need to know the edition size. The excited enthusiasts will snap it up, but I think, after the initial rush, it may languish in shops for a while, and we may see the price drop somewhat. First thing I'll be doing is, go for the Pod. I'll probably just use a picture of the Tumbler as a back drop.

thats not the HT tumbler.. that pic is of a scaled model made for the batman begins movie a few years ago.

If I'm not mistaken, that pic is from the Times Square TRU. They had the screen-used model on display in that case w/ the steel below it. I'm almost positive because I took a pic on my phone and it was my wallpaper for a while.
