Thanks bro. I couldn't resist and nailed it. I was almos paying $1500 on the evilbay! I still had to pay an extra $130 in taxes because I am in Ontario. Shipping was very low ($28 via Expedited Canada Post) as I am just 30min away.

Just be glad you found it locally. Of you had it actually shipped from say us it be over $100 on top of it.
If you really like it and will enjoy it for a long time it is worth it. You can always sell it when you get sick of it or need the money

From what I read here chances of ppl parting with the Tumbler likely stems from lack of space and display time. I can't imagine anyone with space and a nice display of it ever giving up on it unless they are starving (or bought it to flip). I for one will NEVER give it up. Still gets me to smile when I see it and I will enjoy it even more when it is back in a proper case under the TV

It is too big for me, honestly, and that's probably contributed to my lack of interest after getting it. I think you were posting a coffee table conversion, but I don't have the time, inclination, or, most likely, skills to do something like that. If I display it at all, it has to go in front of the fireplace or on top of the computer stand. Or just on the floor in some random place.

Just had this made for my tumbler...will be set in the custom made base I made myself which is almost done. The surface is half inch black porcelain tile with a slate rock texture (to resemble a cave floor).
I'll post finished pics in a week or so...

....I know I got side tracked for a while. Its here and pretty much done. Im just waiting on some aluminium corner pieces for the base.

Heres a really bad photo taken with my cell. I got a new acrylic top coming next week also for this.
