Like what I will do......I have a damage one, need to sell now, and I do not think people will buy it here, so eBay is the place to go.

Man, this is big. I swore I was going to buy one if they were to ever release this again but now I got so much stuff coming that I don't know if I can. The lack of display space is also a problem. Decisions, decisions.

However, the new OC Batman had a few extra things, and it was an exclusive, and almost a brand new figure. The whole "Relaunch" thing seems to me that they're just re-using the old molds and stuff to do a straight re-release.

Also, don't you guys remember that clearance sale that the WB Shop had? $250 for this behemoth...those were the days.

:goodpost: :exactly: They shouldn't add more than a 10% over original price.. afterall, is just a relaunch.

Right...well...least it looks to be a straight rerelease so, unless theres something we haven't seen, I don't feel hard done by with this one. However, no way I'll be able to get my current asking price on my batpod since it really does seem an inevitable rerelease too.

I would say get it on eBay ASAP mate, There are still a lot of collectors out there that don't keep up/follow the latest releases and also the fact that they want one now!

So my advice would be cash in now, make yourself a few quid extra and wait for re release, If you can do with out it.

Demand for the Batpod is far greater than supply at the moment... Be quick :hi5:

A-dev: sell it on eBay - NOW!!

You will get decent money for it, trust me

:exactly:

I was never into owning the tumbler tbh but since it's being re-released I may give it a go this time. I never had the room for it so I wasn't interested. But now that I have a mancave and plenty of room I may jump on this.

Yeah, I was never into it either.

I'm not interested in the Tumbler, never was. The Batpod however is a different story. If they rerelease it or remake it, I'll pick one up for my Batman figures. I regret passing on the great price for it back in 2009. I still don't know why I did that.

The only vehicles I want is the '89 Batmobile and the Batpod. I've never been a fan of the Tumbler and wouldn't even buy it to have a complete set.

Hot Toys is probably going to go insane with vehicles now that they literally have the licensing for 5 Batman films. Pretty crazy.

I already have the Tumbler, and I didn't have any plans to sell it, so I don't mind if the relaunch slows the $ appreciation value of it.

I am actually excited because it is pretty much guaranteed that HT will re-release the equivalent (no, improvement!) of a TDK DX02 Batman, and so far reviews of the Keaton Batman suggest they have solved the leaking body problem. (I know, it's still early yet). Combine that with the new Bale headsculpt (which, knowing HT, will be even further improved with the TDKR release)...and well, it pays to be patient. :)

Not really:nono

Selling something for what it's worth has nothing really to do with the equation. If you can make a buck on your toys, than I say go for it.

Yes, there really is a fine line between bashing the scalper and becoming one yourself. How does one determine "worth", how to make a "buck"? They determine it by going by the market. who dictates the market? This would be the fine line mentioned above as both buyer and seller determine the market. Bottom line, i see alot of sellers (everyone) on here setting their price by the market value and that in itself proves they feel their collection has monetary value above retail.. and they like it.. hence my original comment.:peace

Sadly, I will have to pass on it in order to get all Burton's...

Gonna pass on the tumbler, if they rerelease the pod though, that will be hard to pass up. (depending on the price)

not much different I guess, it's all plastic, so the wing will damage I guess? and price will go up since they said they lost money on the last production.

I love the tumbler in the movie, but it's just not something I need in my collection. I'll save the mula and spend it on a couple of figures instead.

Now that I think about it, the batpod will probably be a pass too.

:horror:horror:horror Tumbler is a must have, to me .. I don't care if I have to quit all other figures on 2012
