I think I'm more excited about the prospect of being able to pick up a Tumbler than I am the 1989 Batmobile

Am I missing the point here or something? Why is HT relaunching The Dark Knight tumblers when they are already doing the TDKR Tumbler...? :dunno Isn't it the same design anyways?

I don't own this but i do recognize it as a grail piece and without grail pieces this hobby blows. Sometimes the dream of owning a grail piece is actually better than owning it. Yeah sure, newbs now have a chance to get one for a decent price, thing is their will always be newbs entering the hobby so, i just don't see the point. For those who say the $ value of their collection means nothing i say "yeah right".

I'm assuming because the TDKR one will vary slightly. It was destroyed in TDK so the one that will appear in TDKR will be different and let's not forget the nice Camo variant.

It's not the "value" of my collection. It's the QUALITY. I couldnt give a ____ about having a really expensive doll collection. At the end of the day, i'm after high-end QUALITY, not value. But again, that's just me. If it was not for the quality, I would have been priced out along time ago, because I would not spend thousands of dollars on my toys just so I could tell people its high value. I would probably collect money instead:lol

:lol You make a good point. Yeah, the value matters if/when you need to sell stuff. I'm slightly miffed about the inevitability of a Bat-pod rerelease as, at a time of great need of money such as now, I won't be getting the nice sum I initially set out for. With international shipping I don't know if I'll be making any profit on that one at all. Of course, none of that is HT fault, if I had decided to sell sooner I could have scored big but, as ever, I picked the wrrrong time.

I wouldn't even try to sell it here a-dev.:wink1:

That's actually pretty accurate for me, in reverse. I'm probably deciding against a few new HTs that I liked but not "I NEED THAT", in order to save money for my WDW trip.

I think that's great cokebabies! Have fun on your trip man!:yess:

I wonder if Hot Toys are just selling all the damaged ones the got returned With a extra hit with a hammer and selling it as TDK smashed up version :horror

I would say get it on eBay ASAP mate, There are still a lot of collectors out there that don't keep up/follow the latest releases and also the fact that they want one now!

So my advice would be cash in now, make yourself a few quid extra and wait for re release, If you can do with out it.

Demand for the Batpod is far greater than supply at the moment... Be quick :hi5:

Don't get it twisted though, I'm not one of those "once in a lifetime" WDW trip takers. Hell, if I only go once a year I get withdrawal itches. But if skipping Red Skull and another figure or two means, paying for my food for a week, I'll do what it takes. :lecture

Not really:nono

Selling something for what it's worth has nothing really to do with the equation. If you can make a buck on your toys, than I say go for it.
