Hot Toys 1/6 Tumbler/Batpod Batman

Ordered the Tumbler from Toys2. Its going to cost me 429Euro.....about $670

Rather hefty.....not sure if its such a good idea to add the batpod to that..probably still will.....

Well, I will be calling them in the morning to find out what is up with the change in price...but I placed the order anyway cause these guys are known to sell out fast!

Odd... I did give them my zip, but it's possible he misheard me or something. It was rather hard to hear him as well, but I'm pretty sure he said $80, since he went on to explain about how big the box was and so forth.

I sent an email to them about this (too lazy to call). I left you know what they say.

My quote was for UPS.

I think the Canada Post is the more expessive of the two options if I remember correctly.

EDIT - Canada Post was about $20 more

Thanks. My online shipping quote is $83 for UPS, which goes along with what I was told on the phone, so I'm going to assume that they were just looking at their online system.

Well, apparently it seems the Toys2 Shipping rates have now been readjusted to reflect the dimensional weight with box size of...

Approximate Packaging size: 83 x 57 x 38 cm ( L x W x H)

So the Toys2 shipping calculator now seems to be fairly correct. Sorry Guys, this thing is huge. I guess the earlier quote I received was wishful thinking but it was the quote given to me. My actual reradjusted shipping quote is now 109. Ouch!

Yeah, but you can still get it on ebay for 470 from Asian Dealers, but I guess you have to pay upfront and well, it is ebay so you have no real protection if something goes wrong 5 months from now.

I wouldn't either. Toys2 is 100% Solid. Go with who you know.

For me, the difference between Toys2 and the cheapest ebay seller is $3.34, so I'm not too upset.

I am just getting the pod. Damn Tumbler is way too large for any shelf I have! But it is nice.

I gave this size about 20 pages back...the outerr carton comes to 33x23x15 and when you use the IATA Standard for shipping which is to divide by 164 you come up with 68lbs!!!

let me ask you this if I could offer these at a reasonable price and ship them direct to you from hk would you guys be opposed to that..you would pay me when they are ready to ship, they would be trackable and fully insured but it may save you some $$$..I am looking into this option as well...

As badly as I want the Tumbler, I just don't have the room so I will be settling for the Batpod which is still extremely cool though.
