I haven't been keeping up with all of the tumbler news in this thread, but I recall seeing that the Tumbler would only work with a certain Batman figure. Which was it again? Is it just a question of the previously released HT Batman not working with it?

It's a bit small, but you can see the articulation of the leg on the new Begins suit figure, could come into play for getting him into the vehicle. The Tumbler is stated to be for the new Begins suit figure.

Okay, I just got a direct quote from Eric.

Shipping for me UPS Ground to L.A. is $55.

He said there is something wrong with his shipping calculator and he needs to get to the site and make the necessary adjustments.

Anyway, I feel much better about this now. My cost shipped is $445. So I imagine the closer you are to Detroit the lower your shipping quote will be.

Put one in your cart and then change the quantity to something like 500 and it will adjust it to the amount they have allotted when you update your cart. They seem to have 93 now, which would cost $36,269.07 by the way...

I called them and they said it would be around $80 shipping to Illinois. That doesn't seem to match what someone else said about shipping to Chicago. Do you think that was accurate?

Doesn't sound like it to me Bro. Did you give them your zip? I'm in Detroit and he told me $35-$40 bucks...you aren't that much further away. So one of those quotes is wrong.

HT is known for very fragile plastic parts,you think this might be a problem with the Bat-pod as it has very many thin parts.For that price it better not be.

well, looks like what he quoted me was wrong. I just placed the order and it was $76 bucks according to his site's calculator for UPS shipping.

Pjam said their online shipping calculator was giving people the wrong amount. My guess is that the guy I talked to on the phone used their online calculator to give me an inflated estimate, just like yours.
