Hot Toys 1/6 Tumbler/Batpod Batman

IDK I buy direct from Hot Toys and I am in North America...I think there are a few companies that do...not sure why Joel doesnt either..

I don't mean Toys2 is the only one. But they have been officially announced that they are. They use to be on Hot Toys site under distributors but I don't see them anymore.

Also as for Joel, my guess is that he gets the majority of his Hot Toys figures from Sideshow, so he can sell them for cheap. But really DC is the only HT figures that Sideshow won't carry.....so many it just hasn't prompted Joel to start a relation with HT when he can practically get everything else of HTs from SS. If that makes sense.

yeah I thought the same thing as I buy a lot of Hot Toys stuff from Sideshow as well as it is cheaper than buying direct...except for my guys that pay a little premium to get stuff early..like I got James Dean in May from HT in HK and we just got our Marlon Brando's last week...

I'm still not sure yet if I'll bite the bullet on the tumbler or not. But if I do, I'll definitely go with whoever is the cheapest. No way will it be BBTS - that price is a joke. Right now I'm getting a quote of $473 shipped to NC from Toys2, I suppose the shipping calculator is fixed?

$473 to NC? That is almost tempting but there goes my toy budget for a while as well even if I save up. But man would it look beautiful on display.

I just put in my preorder at Toys2.net for the Batpod, as much as i'd love to have the Tumbler I have to pass! Man, waiting 6 frigin months for the Batpod should be interesting.

At first I didn't think I wanted the Tumbler (primarily due to cost), but since this movie is getting such stellar reviews, I better find the funds for it. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't have all 3.

I have some display ideas in mind for that huge, but beautiful piece of plastic...

You and me both. I feel it will be better to shell out now, instead of paying Hicks type aftermarket prices for the Tumbler and Batpod. That ET clip today is what convinced to me get the Batpod. It was meh before, but anything that defies natural expcetations like rolling Sideways is awesome!

I sure hope the HT version can do that too!

Agreed! I've said it before, but Joe has earned my money for this entire line, and any other Hot Toys line Sideshow can't import.

Not really sure. He is US based, so I would think shipping outside the US might not make it the best deal for non-US people.
